I know you've already answered the question of if Lee had an asexual darling... but what if Lee had a darling who was also aromantic, and adverse to every attempt at romance from him and could never love him back? Poor darling would just be uncomfortable all the time.
For the asexual aspect, he can love you without needing to fuck you, as sex is wonderfully intimate but not the only intimacy needed, and he'd adore you regardless. He's so in love and devoted, as long as you love him back, nothing matters. (Or at least have you being in his life, as, loving him back would be wonderful! But he knows some things are just one sided. Doesn't mean you get to go out and get another lover, however. He said he loves you, not that you get to go and explore.)
But there comes a point where if you feel nothing, want nothing, refuse everything, and reject every advance he gives- there's only two real options. You're going to be nonconned and upset and in fear, have every boundary broken, and be left feeling disgusted (Which, hot, obviously. It's kinda why we're here.)
Or- He's going to mourn and find another. At that point you don't want a yandere, you want someone to moderately like you and leave you alone. It takes the Dere out of it :c (if they don't outright just decide to kill you, as a lot of yandere's do. They feel that the afterlife is where everything will make sense, or they believe you've wronged them in some way and that if they can't have you, no one can. With Lee this is also a possible ending, so, He'd cut you open to eat your beating heart to know, just once, what it would feel like to be this close to you in a way no one else ever will be.)
The thrill of a yandere is that they love us so much, we're worth chasing, and in a lot of scenarios, we often don't love them back / the love isn't as intense. They're determined to get us to love them back by any means, or in some scenes, just have us at all and be uncaring for the fact we hate / are scared of them. You have to be willing as the reader to realize that as a possibility with a dark trope such as this.
If you want to keep yourself in tact, you might have to lie and say you love Lee back. Lying can save your life with these things!
