It's a pain in the butt but silly tumblr has decided to be a butt about its changes. You don't have to do this but it's for anyone who wants to see gifs instead of god awful grey boxes.
Since we expanded the roleplay into an 8x8 about a month ago, we've noticed the lack of activity and interest from members which has lead us to making this tough decision. It isn’t just the lack of activity and interest but as an admin, it is starting to feel like a chore to keep CB alive. We've also noticed that it was the lack of organization with opening new spots in the roleplay and grabbing future applicants attention. Though, we don’t place blame on anyone but life itself because we understand how frustrating it is when things comes up abruptly.
With this tough decision, we are going back to being somewhat of a 4x4 roleplay and we'll be closing the main from future applications. Admins will not be tough on activity because once the main closes, everyone's character will sort of be like an indie account BUT that does not mean we'll all stop interacting with each other. We do ask for everyone to respect the general tumblr roleplaying rules because it won’t be fun if things go all over the place.
We know it seems confusing with going back and forth with being 4x4/8x8 but please know that we're not fully giving up on the roleplay.
If you’ve just stumbled upon our little roleplay, we are very sorry for this inconvenience. There's a possibility of reopen the roleplay in the future and we may or may not open for both bio and original characters. Until then, we hope that our current roleplayers will stick around and continue roleplaying with each other and if not, we wish you the best.

We've deleted all wanted connection posts because the connection request form has been updated. Since we recently reopened three female spots, we are now accepting both male and female wanted connections. For now on, all posted wanted connections could be found in this tag.

On a scale of 10, I would say that we're about a 6 or 7. Everyone tends to be most active around 6/7PM EST. Some days can be slow though.
CHERRY BEACH ROLEPLAY TASK #2
Your character is at Cherry Beach’s 125th birthday fair and has been walking around for almost an hour until they stumbled upon a video booth by Archie’s Arcade. Curious by the booth, your character walks towards it and sits down inside.
There are instructions on how to operate the video booth:
Put a dollar in and whatever you say for the next five minutes will be confidential. No one will hear you speak but you and the camera.
Once the timer goes off, it will give you two options: replay your recording then it will be deleted or just delete it.
HOW TO COMPLETE THIS TASK
Put on a five minute song or timer and start writing a self para about your character being in the booth. Will they confess something personal or something they’ve been hiding from everyone? Rant about something? Is he or she going to talk to the camera like an old friend? Your character can do or say whatever they want but no one else is allowed in the booth. Remember that whatever your character says or do, it will be confidential and their recording will eventually deleted. Now, what will you say?

We would like to celebrate 125 great years of a beautiful and friendly island that we are proud to call our home. All the money at the town fair will go to the Cherry Beach Hospital in hopes of making a better future for the patients. We hope that you will be able to join us and enjoy this lovely day with us.
