I didn't know that abolishing the monarchy was on the table. And only mentioning it in the penultimate episode is definitely a choice.
dont know how i feel about this sudden abolition plotline. it feels at once like it came out of nowhere and like it's the natural conclusion to all this, and also the only way for huiju and yi-ahn to be able to chill out for the rest of their lives... but man why'd it have to start ep 11 ??? i was hoping for a relaxed last ep where we just saw them be happy 😭
