9/10....because this is usually not my cup of tea. But it was really good. Given it's a 2020 show it still works so refreshingly well. So a really good one fr.

The premise was why I never watched it during its og run. But they have done full justice to the concept. Actually live that Eun Woo at times had visible pores and scars on his face while Ga Young's character was battle her insecurities.

Refreshing bunch of kids. They were all funny and delightful to watch except for the bullies. Also they actually were studying in this drama.

Funniest biological family in kdramaland actually. They were all so cute too.

And of course these two. The bromance stole the show even though it didn't get enough time.

Not a fan of childhood connections but its okay. They were cute in this one.

The whole suho vs seojun debate means nothing to me because it was clear from their first scene together why they were gonna end up together. Even with Suho pulling the dumbest excuse to breakup. Theose 2 made sense together.

I just wish SeoJun was not left that heartbroken. A beautiful character nonetheless. I like that they all remain friends and they all found what they wanted to do.

It is a romcom when the main leads are suffering while everyone around them are just as chaotic as ever.

Ju kyung's family is hilarious. Every one of them. And her teacher fits right in. That proposal scene had me laughing hard.

Lee Su Ho turning absolutely miserable because Ju Kyung forgot to call or text. Imagining all sorts of scenarios where he's dumped.

He is actually the funniest in the show.

This character is so so funny. Plays the annoying little brother to perfection. Loves his sister's enough to cry at their wedding. But will annoy the heck out of them at any given moment.

His love line is also so dramatic. Him so full of himself falling for the girl that doesn't give a damn about him. He annoyed her to fall for him too. Total mood booster this character truly.

It was always going to be Lee Suho for Ju Kyung. Why was there even a debate?

Seems like Startup war over second male lead. Just because they were written and played so well by their actors doesn't mean they will get the girl.

True Beauty really peak romcom set in school. Because why are the two boys having a Dumpling off to impress the girl's mom. One of them is already the boyfriend.

The comedy that is this show. My cheeks hurt from giggling so much.

Suho is so funny with his nonchalant face actually.

Seojun is adorable even while his heart is breaking most probably.

Ju Kyung is so chaotic that it makes sense she is the center of all the chaos.

Cha Eun Woo has been in business for a decade now and I am aware of how handsome he is. But was never bowled over by him to check out his filmography. Wonderfools changed that and now I'm bingeing almost all his shows. And man has clearly grown with time.

Love his script choices now. They're not what I thought they were. Extremely enjoyable shows. And he seems to have been taking on stronger roles that doesn't paint him as the pretty boy.

Wonderfools did a brilliant job in letting his face with the natural texture show. There was no insane smoothening and whitening that looks fake. The character looked like how you would want him to look. His pretty face can do the aurafarming itself. Directors can focus on the story and character for better results.

Also kinda love his asymmetrical eyes. They really bring the angst out. Man is a solid pretty crier. So would love for him to be in more miserable roles. Not that he's not hilarious in comedy but love a man suffering on screen for entertainment 🫡

I am halfway now and I adore Suho and Jukyung so much together. As fas as school romcoms go this is a really good one.

Also these kids are actually studying. There are actual classes happening.

I know True Beauty was super popular but I didn't get to it because hate the premise of ugly duckling to Swan and it's just a pretty girl given glasses and bad hair.

But it's actually good now that I started it. I understand Ju Kyung and her fear and the steps she is taking to hide her face under makeup.

Now to unearth the Soo Ho vs Seo Jun debate. I can totally see Soo Ho and Ju Kyung ending up together and it's only episode 2. Second lead syndrome is sometimes just the actor being loveable enough and the character chaotic. And I think this is the case here.

Anyway I like the teen romcom vibes this has. Has been long since I watched something like this. Also older dramas look prettier somehow.

9/10....cutting point because I wanted more and that'll be solved if they do the sequel like the end of the show hints at.

Absolutely cracking team of dumbasses. Eun Chae Ni to me was delightful simply because Eun Bin cannot be disliked anyway. Cha Eun Woo has finally got me. I get your appeal dude. Keep wearing tank tops and get injured in your shows to aura farm. That surely works for me. Choi Dae Hoon you absolute gem. Always so much fun to watch him devour every character ever. Im Seong Jae I don't know you yet but you were hilarious.

The story was nothing spectacular but the execution was. Neat and rightly paced. The comedy was so rightly done. Also it looked so cinematic.

This was the first promotional material and this is the exact vibe of the show. They find the only one who knows anything and bully adopt him to be more human.

Would definitely love for the sequel to happen.
