Think about a question:Can order people accept this design?
just sketching something.
Just a sketch.Think about if setting a game how to make it !?
just sketching something.
#Good design Invented the funnel traffic signal is the designer Thanva Tivawong, because he found that life, most of the drivers waiting for traffic lights are kind of anxious psychological, like the contact, which led to a series of traffic accidents, and hourglass sand Long flow characteristics, there is inhibition of this psychological effect, so there is the invention.
#Intention Think about security. 1)Divert people and cars. 2)Change the shape of sidewalk.3)Study behavioral psychology of human.
Conversation 1 (Just record some memory fragments)
Suggest1:You can make an interactive game, let people play games together when they're waiting for a red light.
Suggest2:You can make an animation at the center of the intersection.
Suggest3:You can use luminous paint pr regular paint to paint the sidewalk in various patterns, but it will test your painting skills.
Interview 8
A:Hi~Do you have any time now?
K:Yes,what I can help you?
A:Actually I'm doing a research about ethnography, so I want to interview some people. Can you help me to finish this interview?Just only four questions and not too much time.
K:Of course.
A:Thank you!The first question is do you often run a red light?
K:sometimes I run a red light when I am in a hurry.
A:Yes,it's true. What do you think of running red light will bring you what kind of security risks?
K:Hit by car? In the hospital?
A:Maybe. Will you pay attention to the design of the sidewalk and traffic lights when you crossing the road?
K:Yes,there are different signs and things. It's amazing.
A:Yes.When you are waiting for the green light, if some people around you start to run the red light,do you continue to wait or go with them?
K:It's up to the situation. If there's an emergency,I'll go through the red light. If noting,I will continue to wait.
Interview 7
A:Hey~I'm doing a research about ethnography.I would like to find the people from different countries. Can I ask you some question via WeChat?
H:Yes,of course.
A:Thanks~Do you often run a red light?
H:I don't run a red light very often, but the situation is urgent and there is no car,I will choose to cross the road.
A:Um...ok.Will you pay attention to the design of the sidewalk and traffic light when you crossing the road?
H:I think I will pay attention to the pavement and the traffic light design when I cross the road, because it will tell me whether I can cross the road.
A:Nice.Last one is when you are waiting for the green light, if some people around you start to run a red lighted you continue to wait or go with them?
H:of course walk together, anyway, the first one to die is definitely not me,because I always walk on the edge.
A:Interesting answer.Thank you so much.
H:You're welcome.
Interview 6 (Via Facebook)
A:Hey!For my ethnography research,I want to ask you some questions if you have any time.
G:Yes of course!
A:Thanks!Ok,there have four questions I will ask you.First is do you often run a red light?
G:Sometimes I do ,but generally I like to wait.I am still confuse about which side should I look before crossing.
A:Ok,What do you think of running red light will bring you what kind of security risks?
G:When I do run in red light,I make sure no cars are there, but I do feel guilty about it.
A:Um...Will you pay attention to the design of the sidewalk and traffic lights when you crossing the road? And why.
G:Yes,I do pay attention, because they usually help you find where do you need to cross and if you have priority.
A:Ok,sure.Last one. When you are waiting for the green light, if some people around you start to run a red lighted you continue to wait or go with them?
G:I wait for the green light,I'm not influence by others. It has to be my choice, if I feel safe enough!
A:Thank yo for your answer.
G:Hope that helps.
Interview 5 (In the kitchen)
A:Hey!Do you have dinner ?
F:Yes,of course.
A:Nice.I'm doing a ethnography research. Can I interview you now?It will not take you much time.
F:Yes,of course.
A:Thank you!(Write down female)Um...Do you often run a red light?
F:I don't run yet.I certainly would not risk running a red light in the future because accidents happen even when drivers are following the rules.
A:It's true.Next one is what do you think of running red light will bring you what kind of security risks?
F:It is too risky to not follow them especially at lights where there are more pedestrians and cyclists.
A:Ok,I think so.will you pay attention to the design of the sidewalk and traffic lights when crossing the road?and why.
F:As a pedestrian I pay attention to the signs along the road especially those that tell you which way to look to cross safely.I use the traffic lights to wait for it to be green to cross unless it is completely safe to do so otherwise.
A:oh,pretty good answer.Last one is when you are waiting for the green light, if some people around you start to run a red light ,do you continue to wait or go with them?
F:It depends on the road and situation as to whether I would follow others across a road on a red light.I am more willing to if the road has a slow speed limit and is near shops or houses as cars are more likely to be driving slowly and watching out for pedestrians.I would tend not to cross if it was rush hour as it is busier but again this is subjective based on the road and the traffic situation.
A:Nice! It's a good idea for me.
F:No worries.Hope your research goes well!!!
A:Thank you!
