Guest Introductions!

We're sorry for the lack of updates here! With real life being busy, it can sometimes be hard to keep several social media platforms going. W"e have been updating folks a bit more regularly on Twitter, so feel free to head over and follow us there s you don't want to miss out! In ether case, we will do our best to be more active here as well.

With the applications now closed (did you manage to apply? If not, send us a message!), we have started revealing 2 of our guests already and it has been so excited. We don't want to keep them from you here so please meet... ChouNke! We're not aware of a tumblr account for them but f you have checked twitter or instagramm, we are sure you have seen their mind-blowing art before! They were someone highly requested in our interest check and we are happy that they agreed to work with us

Mayu! On the Twitter and Ao3 community, Mayu is well known for their fluffy and domestic ssmy stories and AUs that just don't leave any eye dry as soon as they see them. She is excited to put her skills and we can't wait to see what else she comes up with!

For now, that is all the news we have. There will be more guest intros in the near future, though. We are currently going through the applications that closed a bit over a week ago but it will still take a bit of time for us to settle and contact on everyone that gets picked.

Applications are now open!

Wow! Today is FINALLY the day! It's already been a ride for us, but applications are now officially open and will remain open through April 13th. Just click this handy link to apply as a writer or an artist!

We would love to see many of you apply so we can bring you the best fanzine you could possibly imagine! No matter if it is for art or writing, we want to hear from you!

After applications close, the mod team will take a bit of time to review all of them and then get in touch with everyone that applied.

We're also excited to introduce our guest contributors to you in the next weeks. Please look forward to it! :)

We have been a bit inactive on our accounts and we sincerely apologize for that.

However, while communication was scarce, we haven't been lazy! All mods have been suffering with sickness for a bit (can you infect each other via discord?!), but we have kept planning and this is what has been going on.

We have reached out to some amazing folks that have been requested in our interest check and, to our delight, the accepted our request to join us as guests. We'll introduce you to them once applications open, which brings us to the next point!

Applications for writers and artists (and possibly mods) will start in March! We're in the thicket of preparing for this event and look forward to seeing hopefully a lot of you apply to be part of this project!

Hello everyone!

First of all, thank you for all the people that filled out our interest check form and have got in touch with us. The interest check form is now closed. We're happy that the response was higher than we expected to things are looking good for us to move forward. Nonetheless, we will need some time to process the answers and plan for the steps going forward. We'll update you here and on Twitter as soon as we can. In the meantime, we would like to introduce our last mod to you, completing our team of 3. He is the one that approached us and had the idea to kick this off. Let's welcome @bakubowwow!

Interest Check open until January 19th!

Have you filled out the interest check already? Since this is the first time a fanzine is being attempted for the Sasaki to Miyano fandom (at least that we are aware of), we're trying to see how interested the fandom is - that's where you come into play!

By filling out and sharing the interest check form here, you help us see how interested the fandom is in this project.

We, the mods, love SSMY and want to share this love with the fandom this way. But it is also a lot of work for everyone involved (including the talented artists and writers we hope will join us in this endeavor), so we want to make sure other people are just as excited as we are.

You can also feel free to send us asks and we will get back as soon as possible (we may need a day or 2 to make sure we have discussed everything and timezones can be a little inconvenient!)

Our zine theme is: secrets.

And because we’re a forgetful bunch, we decided to name it Secrets! If the Walls Could Talk…

If you’re wondering what it means, we’re happy to explain!

You see, our team is a bit obsessed with Sasaki to Miyano. We’re sure you know the feeling. And we love how whenever they’re alone in a room together, we get the feeling that we should get out, that we should look away. Clearly, so do the supporting characters.

So we’re exploring secrets and secret-keeping – intentional or otherwise. The zine will feature art and stories (and perhaps even merch) along this theme, created by fellow fans like you! The theme is open to interpretation, AUs and canon divergence and such is welcome, and all characters are welcome (as long as the focus of the story remains on Sasaki and Miyano)!

If you have ideas fitting such a theme, our interest check will be out TOMORROW!

Calling all Sasaki to Miyano fans! 

Have you ever wondered what kind of secrets those classrooms would spill if the walls could talk? Do you love these two boys so much that you want to just be a wallflower and look at their precious lives all day? We’ve been wondering a lot of these things and decided to take matters into our own hands. We simply can’t get enough of these beautiful boys.

This is a not-for-profit fan project and entirely a labour of love. It has come to our team’s attention that (at least the western part of) this fandom has never had a zine of its own. And so we decided to help with that. While we wait for sensei to cook, we’re gonna have a small barbeque for ourselves. As a little treat.
