hi friends, it’s me again. after yet another month of having my hours at work slashed and barely making any money, i’m gonna need rent help again. i have a job interview next week that should hopefully get me out of this awful hole, and i really don’t want to have to e-beg again after this. but for the moment, i need help.
a lot of you already know the story — i’m a queer, physically disabled, neurodivergent person working two jobs to support me and my cat. my family can’t help me because of my mom’s terminal cancer. i am trying extremely hard to get my life together but it just isn’t working and i really, really need help.
my short-term goals are getting my credit card bill ($57) and phone bill ($65) paid. long-term, after doing the math, it’s looking like i’ll be about $530 short on rent this month. this means i need a total of $652 by the end of july.
i genuinely appreciate all the help and do not take it for granted that y’all have been here for me month after month. i promise that once i have the means i will give back in the same way you all have given to me. thank you, thank you, thank you.

so i need to replace one of my car’s tires. i can keep driving on it for now, just need to keep it inflated, but it definitely has a hole in it. i still need rent money so thats the short term goal, but i will be adding $200 to my goal so i can get that tire replaced.
These may be my last words or the last time I write a post, so I will not forgive anyone who sees this post and does not support me with a single word and ignores me.
I write these words in great pain, my eyes brimming with tears. I can no longer bear this situation. I am exhausted by hunger, severe anemia, my father's cancer, and the exorbitant cost of the medications he needs.
All I care about is getting rid of the cancer my father is suffering from and the constant pain. Please help me buy his medication so his body can recover and he can resume his life, and to save me, my entire family, and my young niece who is suffering from malnutrition and anemia.

the continuing saga of rumi being poor: pay-what-you-want ko-fi doodle commissions are open!
hi friends! as some of you may know, i am a very very broke disabled queer artist working two jobs in the good ol’ USA. may has been a crazy month for me and i’ve needed to take a lot of time off of work, which means my paychecks have been… suboptimal. i’ve done the math, and i am going to need about $500 to make sure all my bills are paid at the end of the month.
i’m really sick of e-begging without being able to give anything in return, so — i have elected to set a ko-fi goal! this way, my goal is easily viewable and my progress is transparent, AND i can do some ko-fi doodle comms!
ko-fi doodles will be pay-what-you-want. they will be uncolored sketches, waist-up or busts, 2 characters maximum, completely sfw, on a 2000x2000 canvas. i’ve included some examples below:
i will post finished doodles in batches of 2-10 pieces as they are completed. since i work two jobs and have a lot going on this month, i can’t promise any specific turnaround time, but i will aim to have doodles completed within 1 week of receiving the donation.
