Chex week 2025 prompts and dates!
At last we have the official prompt list for this year’s Chex week which will be taking place from August 24th to the 30th!
Day 1: Secret/Mystery
A twofer?? That’s right we’re starting Chex week with a fun little double prompt! There are many secrets and mysteries to be explored within Chex and their story. Tex discovering who she is, the mysteries of Project Freelancer, the alpha hidden away… or maybe Caboose just wants to throw them a surprise party
Day 2: Date Night
Between all the angst and tragedy what does a calm little date night look like for our doomed duo? Is it a rare moment of quiet for them? Does it get crashed by a certain group of red and blue idiots? Or maybe it’s a moment long forgotten between a man and the woman he loved before things went so wrong.
Day 3: Message
So much to say, so little time to say it. A solemn goodbye, a desperate plea, maybe a letter from one lost at war, or perhaps an angry recording left behind because someone didn’t do the dishes when it was their turn.
Day 4: Board Games
Pawns to be used in a game, controlled by forces much bigger than them. Or perhaps the only thing that can end a relationship faster than being doomed by the narrative is a game of monopoly.
Day 5: Reflections
A reflection of a once great love, simply pieces of what came before. A memory that lingers, the contemplation of your actions, a realization of what it all meant.
Day 6: Role Swap
What if it was Allison who survived, and Church always brought back, trapped in a cycle he did not choose? What if Tex was the alpha, would things have ended differently?
Day 7: Dream/Simulation
Dreams of a once happy family, simulations where you’re always doomed to fail, memories that feel like dreams, the simulations of memories, and do AI dream of electric sheep
And with that we have the official prompt list for Chex week 2025! All submitted by fans! Y’all are so creative I never would’ve come up with some of these! And of course you are free to interpret the prompts however you want, you can be fun and silly or angsty and sad. Be super literal with them or get metaphorical with it! The sky’s the limit!
Just like last year any and all content is allowed: art, fics, songs, meta, analysis, memes, edits, etc etc. My only rule is ABSOLUTELY NO AI GENERATED CONTENT ALLOWED.
