I love all those Time Travel aus, mostly because of Keith’s reactions to hot & mature Lance. Totally worth it.

Lance and Keith’s Connection Theory
Here goes another one! LOL. This pretty much expands off of my other theory about Lance and Keith both having a connection to the Blue Lion, except this one has more to do with their relationship as a whole.
So Lance had the bond towards the Blue Lion
And Keith felt an energy towards it
This I feel is really important because Keith has never felt any kind of energy/connection to a lion other than Red. There was the Black Lion
Except it mainly just allowed him to pilot it so that he could save Shiro.
But there’s also this fact which I mentioned before
Those cave paintings I feel are very important, they were almost depicting what was going to happen in the future. Two people with a possible connection to the blue lion, coming together to retrieve it at once? And those two people turned out to be Keith and Lance.
That means they must be important to each other together then, their connections to the blue lion allowed the group to be able to obtain it in the first place.
That also means they must share a connection too.
Another point that proves this is that when both Lance and Keith are in danger or if they’re hurt
They are both the ones to care the most about each other in these situations. Having a stronger connection towards someone, means that you become more concerned about them when they’re in pain/danger right? (Especially if they’re far away.)
This is probably why Keith was so impatient here
Wanting to have Lance heal quickly is literally depicting how strong their bond is. Once he’s out of the pod it means that he will be closer to him, which I’m pretty sure is what he wanted.
And here for Lance
He was saying in this scene “We have to get down there!”, he wanted to get closer to Keith to make sure he was OK. He was uncomfortable with being so far away and not knowing if he was safe.
Then there’s this scene, where they showed an actual connection towards each other (one on one)
Then Lance forgets the moment and this literally destroys Keith.
They’ve both felt and shown some sort of distress when they’re not able to reach each other in some way.
If Keith felt an energy towards a lion that Lance has the strongest bond with, is that not possibly saying that they must have some sort of connection towards each other too?
Keith and Lance’s Blue Lion Connection Theory

Which happens to have the strongest bond/connection with Lance
And look
Those two people standing in front of the blue lion is Lance and Keith.
AND LOOK AT THESE CAVE PAINTINGS
THEY’RE SO SIMILAR TO THE ACTUAL EVENT AREN’T THEY?
What if Lance was meant to pilot the lion, but Keith also has some sort of connection to it too? He felt an energy telling him to search, but Lance had the official bond.
Keith was questioning Coran about the lion in season two, he was wondering how it had gotten to Earth and if a Galra had possibly piloted it. COULD THAT BE TRUE, AND COULD THE PILOT HAVE BEEN RELATED TO KEITH WHICH IS WHY HE FELT AN ENERGY TOWARDS IT?
And look at when Keith approaches the lion before Lance…UMMM
WHAT?? TELL ME THAT DOESN’T MEAN SOMETHING.
IS IT POSSIBLE THAT TWO PEOPLE COULD BE TIED TO THE BLUE LION????
WERE LANCE AND KEITH MEANT TO FIND THE LION TOGETHER JUST LIKE THE CAVE PAINTINGS SAID??? Keith felt the energy which led them to that spot and Lance’s connection led them to retrieving the lion, which is what started Voltron in the first place.
