Little sketch I did for a 3D animated short film project -called Young Adventure 🎥 I worked on the design of the characters, I’ll be sharing my drawings during the next weeks! 😉 Initially, the story was about two children who like each other and their memories together—the script changed quite a bit during the process, but the characters remain the same! Kind of a ‘collab’ drawing I did with one of my classmates (-> @lisondraws) ! Actually it was for an english presentation and we didn’t really like the subject at first... buuuut we kinda ended up enjoying working on it ! Even though we didn’t spend much time on it X’D

Didn’t post anything for a few months actually ahah- So here’s a little portrait, the sketch and the ‘final’ thing !

Here are all my characters from our last exercice of character design ! The theme was Mad Cars. We had to create characters that live in a post apocalyptic world where the vehicles are alive as in Cars. It also had to be in a cartoon style. There are 8 characters in total, Max and his/her companion, and 2 tribes with 3 characters in each of them. I tried to do one “food tribe”, they collect all the food that is left and keep it to themselves. And the second tribe is the pink one, they are collecting all kind of objects from the sea to keep its history since it doesn’t exist anymore :’)

The first image is the final line-up of all of the characters and the second one is an earlier version. And you can also see the before/after of some of the characters in close-up !

As I already said once, drawing beautiful people is the best way to procrastinate, even the dead ones -actually I would even say that it is the best among the best-

Here are some of the latest things I did for school ~

Firstly there is an environment in a cartoon style, with some props.

Then there is an illustration that we had to try to do in Matt Rockefeller style -line art, colors and we also had one of his illustration as a reference for the compo and the lighting-

And finally some of the characters for the new subject of our character design lesson ! This time the subject is “Mad Cars” -mix of Mad Max & Cars, just in case ;’) - We have to design characters from an apocalyptic world in a cartoon style, and some of the characters have to be vehicles, of course !

After a few weeks, here are all the characters of the first “project” for my character design course. The subject was Treasure Island nowadays. There are J. Hawkins, L.J. Silver, Ben Gunn, Captain Smollett, and 2 other characters that are not included in the original story -well, they’re still inspired by original characters-

A bunch of things I’ve done since the start of the school year :’) Some of them are finished, some aren’t but I’m not going to work on it anymore. And finally some are still WIP !

So we have 4 sceneries/environment designs that are “finished”, a sketchdump of model drawing, a character inspired by the work of Matt Rockefeller. And some of the characters I made for our first subject of character design lesson, which was Treasure Island nowadays ! I’m still working on it ~

I wasn't really productive during these holidays but here are some of the things I did - A kind of semi-realistic based on a portrait photo - A sea shell, that I tried to draw in Professor Layton game's art style (especially the Azran one that I find really beautiful !) - A bird skull sketch done at the Jardin des Plantes, there was this huge sculpture reproduction of a bird skull and I couldn't resist the temptation to draw it since I love skulls (and all bones actually) <3 - Half of a self-portrait (I look way too young on it so I gave up) - And finally a sketch done at the beach where I went on vacation in Italy Actually I've done some others drawings, like color and lighting training based on photos I took while on vacation but I didn't save any of them cause I didn't like the result so sorry I can't show it to you, but maybe I will redo some later !
