I know I'm sort of a mega-producer, but it's mostly because I've been writing longer than some of you have been alive. I'm passionate about it. I don't need a robot to create that, and honestly, neither do you. Don't ever use it as a crutch. Fuck AI.

Thanks to @silluuuu I was tagged to post what I'm working on. It's hard to decide because I have so many somethings cooking, but since Distance Makes the Heart... seems to be my most popular right now, I'll give you a taste:

Tattooed hands, tattooed arms, tattooed– “Good morning,” Takeshi sang.

Maka’s grip on her mug almost turned it to dust. “What are you doing here?”

“Already, the hostility,” Takeshi grumbled as he pushed past her and into the apartment. “I’m just doing you a favor. Akane wants us gone ASAP. Though, thankfully it’ll be in Bolivia. We could do a little sightseeing afterwards. It’s absolutely beautiful there.”

“Wait, just us? What are Akane and Clay doing?” Maka’s knees wanted to knock together. 

He chuckled as he reached for a tendril of her hair. “What, don’t want to be alone with me?”

No! Maka’s deathgrip on the coffee cup kept her from swatting at his hand, but she took a step back to his against the wall.

His hand planted above her shoulder, leaning close. “You’re acting like you’ve seen a ghost.”

The heat that she thought she’d erased fluttered up her neck again, seizing her cheeks.

“Maka?” He tilted his head, playful smile starting to fade as his eyebrows furrowed. “What is it?”

Snippet Sunday

@blackbloodteeth tagged me so I must relent! 6 sentences is so hard for me, but let's see.......... I know you're all dying for the next installment of Distance Makes the Heart..., so I will give you a taste of Takeshi and Soul actually meeting face to face!

“Interesting.” The door clacked shut, making them both jump. Takeshi stood in the threshold of the classroom, hands shoved in his pockets. “So the weapon returns. Aren’t you at least a year early?”

Maka put two firm hands to Soul’s chest, making distance as she worked on her tear laden cheeks again. “He’s just visiting.”

“And surprised you? How sweet.” Takeshi glided forward, hand outstretched in Soul’s direction. Red eyes followed it. “We’ve already technically met over the Soul phone, but it’s nice for it to happen in the flesh.”

Soul offered his hand in return, and Maka watched them both tighten at the contact. “We’ve met a couple times before, Hidaka. Don’t act like you don’t know me just because you’re Maka’s current project.”
