Favourite chuck episodes from any season?
I haven't rewatched chuck in so long I can barely remember most of them so bare with me as I remember a little bit.
vs. The Wookiee
- The introduction of Carina added more to Sarah and Casey's backstories and with her arrival causing added tension it really started to flesh characters out. I could never just paint Carina as devil's advocate or the devil herself she is more of catalyst that pushes things along in her own way.
vs. The Sandworm
- The buy more as a store is its own character housing even more diverse individuals. You know at first I came for the spy thriller espionage point of the show but stayed for the buy more antics and familial bond of it all. Even though it was to keep the "fake" couple act in tact Sarah started to actively participate in Chuck's world a bit more for a sense of normalcy.
vs. The Truth
- Disclaimer just in case the cia or General Beckman is watching truth serums aren't real. Chuck on the serum was just him voicing his inner thoughts which he already does he just didn't have to think about it before doing so in this case. The sole reason I love this episode because Sarah just shoots the guy in the knee because she was so done with everything.
vs. The Cougars
- A deeper dive into Sarah's past and who she became to be because of it. Who knew Nicole Richie had action star potential? Not me that's for sure but after this episode I was impressed.
vs. The best friend
- This episode had it all. The action, comedy and emotional intensity of this one was so high it was a roller-coaster. Chuck's loyalty is unshaken he really will go through hell for the people he cares about even if it almost costs him his life. That moment where Sarah and Casey's proverbial "masks" slip because they really thought he died for a moment had me on the edge of my seat because I thought he did too. The birth of Jeffster speaks for itself I think it's one of the strongest episodes of the entire series.
vs. The Aisle of Terror
- Honestly the buy more has been through so much and this is not even the crux of it but the way it lends itself to the plot so well in this one is why it's hands down my favorite episode of season 4. The legend Robert Englund is in this one and he's the reason I was scared of horror movies for so long. It was just a very meta episode focused around fear and the irony was not lost on me. "Otters"
Apologies for taking so long to answer this but these are the few I remember off the top of my head.
