Y’all scaring the shit out of an old man. What if he started searching for other baby-fied crew mates thinking this is either some new outbreak or something.

How was he supposed to know Rodimus busted his whole back out carrying that baby to rest him on his chest for a prank.

Oh primus what if baby nugget was right out the hall on some random baby stroll. The despair Megs would have seeing the most mature and competent bots are now infants!leaving him with grown ass bots that act like it? He’d probably try and baby himself just to avoid all that responsibility.

But that’s crazy. Old man napping through 2 crew pregnancies and all the other shenanigans. He may never fully nap/sleep again if that’s apparently the bs that happens when he naps.

Nitrous probably isn't too far as I think he and Stormsurge like to hang out a bit once Minimus lets Nitrous wander around. Also Nitrous' altmode does align more with Minimus' than Rodimus.

Funnily enough me and my friend had this SAME thought about Megatron seeing Nitrous and being like MINIMUS NOOO

This ship is always getting into trouble. It wouldn't be too wild to assume the crew somehow ended up like... this. Maybe it's Brainstorm antics, even. Who even knows at this point.

the answer to the first big post has been received with a thought it's time to ask the second one! (sorry but not sorry) tf had such "educational institutions" as academies. different. Some tf projects include the flight academy (or whatever it is...) that starscream studied at. Is there a chance that stormsurge would also want to go somewhere similar? I admit the possibility that ultra magnus/minimus will initiate these (poor) children into the autobot codex.. maybe

The image HAHAA too real 😭😂 The chance of at least getting the abridged version of the Autobot Code or the Tyrest Accord feels like the closest risk...

That is a lot to take in.......

They do need to learn about society, and history (Rewind, bring the videos but preferrably informational ones without jarring war shots please!) - I headcanon that Cyclonus teaches Stormsurge Old Cybertronian right away, and then also maybe get help from others (maybe Drift?) to teach them Chirolinguistics.

Flight academy would have maybe been a neat thing to do; not sure if it stays as a thing for training flightframes post-war time? Maybe they get enough flight training if you do a good job letting your sparkling try for themselves in safe environment to learn handle the skill of flight. I don't know if I've entirely settled on this yet, but I've thought about Stormsurge maybe going to courses about logistics, as they grow large and into kind of a freighter shuttle kind of frame. So working transporting cargo across the universe.

Stormsurge does at some point really want to become a horologist - a watchmaker, like uncle Whirl. Big frame and big digits? No problem, Whirl believes in them.

damn, if no one writes, then I will write (and I do not know where it is better for you to write here or your art blog.. i guess..?) for rodimus and mininus/ultra magnus, megatron is pretty close. this can be seen in their interactions, and especially in the last chapters of idw, where um/min first says that he will take off his armor, and at the very end rodimus almost suggests megatron to escape with him from prison. for these two, megatron is very important. although I do not know in any particular time interval there is an invasion of sparklings, but!! Would these two parents want to greet their child with their rather close friend (I think)?? will the child himself be able to love megatron and consider him a close relative of the family?

Okay so like no offence but im gonna be so honest im just not really a megatron guy HAHA but since you asked!! I havent super settled on a time frame for when all this happens, i dont know if i ever will, but to me it makes the most sense for it to take place post canon in the new dimension/universe? So its a slight variation of that post canon except rung is alive cos i want him to be here jgksjds. But but nothing is really solidly set in stone so this can change whenever i guess

But so yea!! canonically roddy and mims would be still very close to megs. But, especially at the beggning, minimus is very protective of the sparkling. He tries to keep baby care duty between him and rodimus only, not trusting anyone else to do the job right. Its not out of any kind of malice or distrust but hes just so worried that the baby will be Not Safe that hes like. I gotta do this myself. So Nitrous ends up being socialised really late. Hes kinda scared of most other bots for quite a while simply cos hes never really met anyone outside of his creators except for short periods or when hes with his creators also

Megatron would be one of the first to see the baby tho i feel. Purely by virtue of the fact that mims/mags is walking around with the baby with him half the time, and he sees megs a lot both for work and when he's off work meeting megatron for writing and stuff yknow. Chicken nugget would be nervous at first (large! new! grey!! unfamiliar colour!!) and kinda curls up into mims in his baby carrier thing. But he will get used to it soon!

In terms of babysitters, once rodimus finally manages to assure minimus that the others can be responsible too and like they can leave the baby with someone else cos like gawsh they are dying they are so tired, the job is only extended to their most trusted friends at first. And i think the go to for rodimus is drift, and for minimus its megatron. This later gets extended to a slightly larger group like to ratchet and swerve and others

So yea like idk what the cybertronian equivalent would be but nitrous grows up with uncle drift and uncle megs being like part of his upbringing also hehe

hi!! I hope you can write here and I'm writing there..? I hope you haven't forgotten about this freaky kitty?? nitrous.. you had previously shown him an approximate palette, but it was not shown exactly where and what colors.. I had the idea to constantly paint him with different colors of noo.. It's too colorful.. I would like to know a more accurate palette!! I had this idea (also due to the fact that the only drawings with him are sometimes different and not always complete, he looks slightly assembled..) umm, I hope the colors and approximate appearance look pretty good!! (Don't worry, he's about the size of 3 apples.) (this is a small drawing overnight because there was no full image and palette, and it's just my idea..)

so like im really bad at drawing and dont draw a lot... i didnt forget about him like dont worry my friend is constantly asking me where the baby is HAHA and i also kept not doing the colours despite him asking me 5 million times. THIS ASK DID REALLY HELP THOOO so i did eventually sit down this week to figure out the colours and this is what we ended up with?? at least for now? i dont know if we'll keep it????

somehow no matter how much i thought i didnt like the green and yellow my brain wouldnt let go of it so green and yellow it is gjskdjfks also the final idea was that i thought it would be cute if his alt mode looks like an arctic fox, but his root mode isnt really white? So most of his kibble that is the 'fluff' and tail that goes on the outside is white, but otherwise he looks more green and yellow. So in fox mode you do see the green especially between the white armour panels :3

also!! my friend says he has a yellow crown which i think is cute. and it carries over to his alt mode in that the insides of his ears are yellow hehe

NEW DESIGN CHOICE HE HAS CLAWSSS neither rodimus nor minimus have claws and they argue about it. its mostly things like roddy getting his paint scratched when nitrous is a lil sparkling and blaming mims and minimus being like. i dont have claws.

lol I’m imagining Nitrous walking up to his parents sobbing and holding his hands out to get cuffed because he thinks he’s committed a horrible deed and needs to go to prison. Poor baby can’t even get the words out to tell them what he did but he’s ready to accept the punishment for his crime. Rodimus and Minimus weren’t even looking so they have no idea what he’s crying about. Rodimus almost puts adult-sized cuffs on him because it’s funny but Minimus doesn’t let him

Another thing I drew a while back. Me and my friend were talking about how Nitrous and Stormsurge would run around playing and what not, sometimes also at Swerve's as their parents would be there to meet with friends every now and then.

And we were talking about how they probably accidentally knock into someone, making their glass of liquid fall to the floor and spill everything. Nitrous gets super-scared and anxious, since Minimus is so square regarding laws and always talks about how important it is to follow laws and rules. And Nitrous thinks he has somehow committed some sort of crime. Stormsurge stands around awkwardly, not quite knowing how to react to their friend being so upset.

Of course, Rodimus nor Minimus would be harsh at all, it was an accident and everything is okay. They comfort him and make sure that he knows he will not have to go to jail, the brig or anything like that.

Stormsurge tries to cheer Nitrous up by bringing his favourite snack. <:]

Me and @potatosstuff like to headcanon that Rodimus loves Cheetos after having tried them on Earth. Minimus hates them because they are messy, the Cheetos dust gets everywhere and -

So Nitrous turns out to have inherited Rodimus' ability to have (and love of) Cheetos!

I'm watching videos with little kittens and I can't stop seeing sparklings in them.. such silly little ones and defenseless. They're so funny looking for their mother when she's gone a few meters away. I think stormsurge could also look for tailgate or cyclonus when they went somewhere for a while..

They would def look for their parents if they went off somewhere for a moment! First time Whirl babysits is probably a bit of Stormsurge just looking around for their parents. Meanwhile said parents are probably also feeling separation anxiety hahaha.

Also not kittens, but my friend sent me this image of these two cats and said "Stormsurge and Nitrous" so I had to doodle that.
