was that CHARLIE SWAN i saw arriving into beacon hills today? i hear that they are 48 and are a HUMAN. they are known to remind others of LAUGHTER DURING A CAMPFIRE, WEEKEND FISHING TRIPS, ALWAYS THERE TO PROTECT & ATHE COMFORTING DAD HUG. i do wonder what adventures are in store for them?

"If I'm not around you know that anyone around here would lend a hand," he started with a brow that was slightly raised as if daring her to argue or deny it. "You keep pushing for that and if you weren't pregnant I absolutely would but how about we revisit that after this little one is born okay?" Charlie offered with a fatherly grin as he pointed to her slowly growing stomach.

He could recall the gentleman from his time in Forks but did not realise he had in fact relocated. Edward and his family often moved to avoid prying eyes, many tended to notice their slow aging after a while, and he did not wish to answer questions. "Mr Swan." He smiled, moving to stand in front of him with a warm smile. "I did not know you moved here too." He realised this did pose some difficulties, but they would not stay long enough to pose further questions of their kind.

He never had any issues with the Cullen family, in fact Charlie quite enjoyed having conversations with both Carlisle and Esme for they were good people. "Yes well a job with a bit better pay is hard to turn down, plus Bella and I thought it would be a good idea to move. Kind of a fresh start together you know?" Charlie explained with a small smile as he thought about his daughter, he was excited to learn all about her all over again.

After getting his cup of coffee and paying for it, Charlie had just about turned around when he almost ran full force into the girl. "So sorry bout that," he shot out as he made sure his hot coffee didn't slosh on either of them. "You doing alright, kid?" He asked in a fatherly way as he made sure that she was steady and standing perfectly fine on her own two feet. @thatbennettwitch

Charlie didn't mean to laugh but he couldn't help himself in that moment. "I'm sorry but if you were from the town that I grew up in and moved from your tune would change," Charlie stated gently. "We've hard far too many animal attacks where I'm from so one can't be too sure when they're walking into the woods, protection is always a must." Even when he had been hunting in the past he had seen his fair share of angry bears in the mountains. "It's nice to meet you Tatia," pausing he continued to listen to her and nodded slowly and began to understand, "I can see where the issue lies now, I'm glad to know that they learned their lesson and ended up leaving the mother and her cub alone." Taking another step closer to her, Charlie gave her a soft smile, "now do you mind telling me why you're out here all alone? Surely you have a home or someone looking for you?"

Charlie let out a small laugh as he gave her a sheepish smile. It wasn't that he didn't think she could handle it, he had just been brought up that a pregnant woman should be resting as much as she could no matter how far she was. "I know but still you shouldn't have to especially if I'm here and perfectly able to carry it for you," he shot back with a tilt of his head.

"Well considering that I am in the woods and had you of been an animal I do need to protect myself," he admitted with a small chuckle as he moved closer to the girl. Putting his gun away but always ready to grab it just in case, Charlie licked his lips and took in a calming breath. "My name is Charlie Swan, I'm a police officer here. A few people who camped around these parts had made some complaints of a disturbance, had to make sure things were alright out here," the chief explained as he waited for her to come closer or talk more.

His car had been in the shop for about a week now and he was curious to know what progress had been made. It was an old car, one he had for years and to part with it was something he couldn't do. Walking into the shop he glanced around and smiled as he spotted the kid that he had handed the keys over too, "Hey any word on my car yet? No rush, just curious." @werewarlok

He had been set to the woods to check on a disturbance and coming from Forks it wasn't an unusual case, there were many times in the past that he would have to scout the woods with his co-workers. He wasn't nervous as he travelled alone, he had his phone and gun with him if it was needed and his co-workers knew where he was, he opted to go alone for he was never the biggest fan of being with a partner. Hearing a small noise not too far from him he took out his gun and moved easily through the trees. "Hello, is anyone out here. I wont hurt you," Charlie called as he kept himself alert and ready. @xvclkyries

Making the move to Beacon Hills wasn't a bad thing, Charlie saw it as a restart and a refresh. A chance to have a new beginning especially for Bella. Walking down the street, a cheerful tune being whistled as he looked around, Charlie felt a sense of ease wash over him. He didn't hate being here and he found the new town enjoyable. Though the second he spotted Edward walking down the street he was a little surprised, he didn't think the Cullen family would be here as well. "Oh hello Edward." @cullentorn
