The winner of my Thanksgiving poll: my headcanons for the twins! I've been working on their designs for a while now lol.

I started playing FFXIV in 2019, so in my head, the twins are about 20 years old now and most of the way through their growth spurt. So here are my ideas for how they look, alongside their EW selves.

I have Lots Of Thoughts about the twins and why I picked these designs, but I don't have time to ramble now. I have more stuff with them though so I'll save my comments for then!

After more than a year in production, I and @emblemred are SUPER excited to announce that the creation of our webcomic Whispers of Aether has begun!

Some 400 years ago, The Great Divide caused the world of Aetheria to be gripped in the claws of war for decades – a war fought between Aetherians, those with an innate connection and ability to manipulate the life-force of the planet known as Aether, and Hominians, those without such a connection, with countless casualties on both sides. Following the Hominian victory of the war, Aether manipulation was forbidden across the world. On the continent of Isamica, the Hominian victory gave rise to three great kindgoms: the now-fading kingdom of Dasurem in the southwest, the industrialized kingdom of Kobert in the north, and the prosperous kingdom of Avican in the southeast. Now, the established Hominian kingdoms are turned upside down when Roshan, a young Hominian scout from Dasurem, breaks his guardsman’s oath by saving Lu’khael, a rogue Aetherian, from being captured by Kobertian soldiers for his use of dangerous and forbidden Aetheric manipulation. The unexpected pair find themselves caught in the middle of a struggle to not only uncover the truth of the war that split their society apart but to reunite the two opposing sides in harmony. So I didn't get to take many pics for the Final Fantasy meetup at Fanime but here's the few I did get!

I wasn't really having a grand time - my cosplay kept breaking and falling apart the first even 10 minutes I put it all on... at one point I was ready to pack up as soon as I got to the con and leave. I ended up not even buying a badge and only hung around for the meetup.

At the meetup tho I did find an Aymeric cosplayer (the only one) and I had to do everything in my power not to absolutely ugly sob because it seriously made my entire day worth struggling through!! QwQ (If the Aym sees this by chance: seriously thank you for agreeing to a pic, you made me the happiest bun and your cosplay looked FANTASTIC 🥰)

I felt bad I left so quickly... I wanted to hang around more and make friends... but I was hungry and tired and wanted to immediately get out of the cosplay before it broke more...

In the end I just left the con and went to the Tech Museum before driving home. It was a long and exhausting day but literally that one lil thing made the whole day worth it.

Now at least I know what all to fix on my cosplay so I can repair it to be stronger and more comfortable for when I get the weapons made and officially finalize it!!!

Thank you again to those who did talk to me, keep me company cuz I was all by myself, and those who recognized me and asked to be my Dance Partner ^^ It was a good time and hopefully I'll have more fun like this at whatever con I decide to go to next (though I'm never going for just one day again... that was hell...)
