WPNZ wanting to feel human emotions so badly that he tries to simulate what its like to be unnecessary paranoid and afraid. Manually forcing his head to detect danger even though there isn't. Pushing out oil through his eyes to cry. Purposely exerting himself so his entire body is trembling out of his own control. Anything to feel more alive.

I think a lot about how WPNZ is a war machine built to kill, infiltrate, and destroy. A very versatile highly advanced work of art that was clearly manufactured by SOMEONE for a set PURPOSE. He's a tool. Built to be a tool, treated like a tool, conditioned to be a tool.

And, yet, he's so painfully HUMAN. God. He's a pathetic deadbeat dad who thinks he's so cool, while fucking up simple missions, divorced by his wife, strikes dumb poses because he genuinely believes he's aura farming. He is just. everything you would NOT expect from a living weapon.

He's just so EARNEST. So raw and genuine. In stark comparison to PUZZLES, who USED to be human. Who you would expect to BE human in his personality and behavior. And obviously he is. Puzzles is a complete mess, and what's more human than that?

But Puzzles puts on acts and personas all the time. He was born human, but essentially taught and "raised" to be more machine than anything else. He's always work-oriented, in a way. Never ABLE to be genuine. Always scheming, always trying to achieve a goal. He does not know how to relax. He does not know how to form bonds with others.

They're both complete opposites, and yet they parallel and complete each other. Two parts of a puzzle (haha) finally coming together. They're what the other lacks, and what they can't be.

An analogy i feel like kinda fits Wpnz, is “The Sheep in Wolves Clothing.”

He hates showing vulnerability / struggles with showing it, even to his loved ones. He’s emotionally unavailable.

The sheep wants to be apart of the others, to be in their lives (his family), but he’s been wearing the wolves clothing all his life. He doesn’t feel comfortable ditching the very shield that solidifies his existence. (being built and existing solely to serve others as a living weapon.)

With the threat of losing the slight control he had and being left behind, the sheep doesn’t let himself see that he was wrong, and immediately puts on the wolves clothing. He deflects it like a shield and pretends it never mattered. (The fight with his family.)

He’s a sheep that desperately wants to belong with the others, but he can’t bring himself to fully be himself. Because that’s not what (he thinks) he’s supposed to be doing.

A wolf cannot be around sheep. That’s all he sees himself as.
