I need the recording academy to know that we have nothing to loose if BTS chooses to go to war with the industry

We spent years without them

And we got our guys back

And now we’re completely untethered

I have absolutely no qualms about going after a CEO and his racist practices

Miss me with the bullshit, bald man

I genuinely believe that a BTS x Bad Bunny collab would break the industry

The entire Latin community and ARMY raging so fucking hard and being absolute little gremlins terrorizing everyone 😭😭

The music and the cultural exchange would create something so beautiful

They want the unmatchable viewer metrics, the cultural buzz, and the history-making performances to validate their relevance, but they adjust the gatekeeping metrics behind closed doors to deny those same paradigm-shifting creators peer status on the main stage.

BTS withholding Arirang and their entire musical catalog from the 2027 Grammys is the ultimate, necessary evolution of the fight Michael started.

Despite being snubbed and robbed of the award, Michael Jackson still delivered a career-defining, show-stopping performance of "The Way You Make Me Feel" and "Man in the Mirror".

The irony remains that his raw stage presence outshone the night's actual winners and forever etched itself into music history

Grammy as never produced or witness another night like this again. Only BTS has come close.

A group of seven incredibly talented young men who know their worth and who understand that having integrity and passion for always doing the right thing far exceeds an award from a dubious organization.

For me, music is something that resonates in my heart 💜 and it doesn’t matter what language it is sung in or what country the artist comes from.

BTS’s music brings us TOGETHER…….

The Grammys try to divide us…

as if I didn't just bully an academy rep into making their acc private

the part that kills me about Zeena is that I wrote a very eloquent post in her comments section before I made my last post trolling her:

You're completely missing the point. Because while you're trying to defend your racially biased category, you are weaponizing Asian Artists - the same artists you claim to be advocating for, and throwing them under the bus so that you can save face.

If you were open to a discussion, you would have reached out yesterday before the CEO @harveymasonjr released his statement. You would have taken that step to bridge the gap in terms of discussion, especially since you claim to be on the front lines. And yet, you didn't, but you made sure to post multiple stories.

Back when Harvey was appointed CEO, he said his goal was to be more inclusive, and yet none of that has actually happened. Instead of actually allowing BIPOC artists from MULTIPLE REGIONS to participate in the main awards, you have created categories that support segregation. The critique isn't because of what BTS said in their statement, which was completely valid; the frustration stems from the systemic racism that has been prevalent within the Grammys for a long time.

So while you make these little posts and try to paint yourself as an advocate, I hope that you can step back, detach yourself from this nefarious mentality, practice critical thinking, and gain common sense as well as self-awareness, so that you can reflect on what it means to be INCLUSIVE and not just the idea of it.

Because if we're keeping it honest, the fact that you keep creating these little categories for BIPOC artists but have not made one for EU artists is not lost to a lot of us. And we're going to keep watching what you're doing until you make significant strides to give BIPOC artists the respect they so rightfully deserve

but alas, it took me being an absolute menace for her to get the message and to finally go private. the threat of a public crash out and how harmful it is to your image really tells you a lot about what is and isn't important to them.

I make one teensy little post in her comments section saying:

I sincerely hope no one takes your phone away, because instead of making things better for yourself and the @recordingacademy, you're actually making it way worse. You're digging yours and the @Grammys grave thanks to your crash out, and I can't wait for publications to pick apart your tone-deaf posts while simultaneously pointing out the prestige the Grammys keep loosing every single year. And this predicament is of your own doing, by the way, because of the reaction you had to BTS' simple message. If the Academy truly stands behind its core mission, then why are you so offended by what BTS said? Unless you're indirectly confirming something you don't want to acknowledge, because it's as they say, guilt makes one defensive.
