THIS BLOG IS THE SMALLEST BIT OF SPOILERS FOR THE NEW ALIEN STAGE EPISODE "KARMA"
( It's not a big spoiler but still a spoiler either way. )
I just wanted to hang out with them...
Don't be sad.
I'm not sad!!
You are. It's okay. I'll tell them to get you next.
What do you mean????
It's okay. They'll get you.
I just wanted to hang out with them...

"Lavender, was it?" Till asked softly, his voice sounded like he had some problems speaking, like it was being held back and he had to force it. Maybe that's why he doesn't speak much at all. But for once, he was trying. "Not gonna lie. You kinda freaked me out the first time I saw you. Not your fault, of course."
@till-to-the-end-and-back
"Hm?"
They looked at him with a confused expression, and they tilted their head. They needed some time until they realised why he seemed so familiar to them... after a bit of silence, they kind of remembered.
"Aren't you that one strange guy who smiled at me that one time?"
"Or was that someone else... uhm. Who are you?"
"Oh shit, sorry kid." Till said in a bashful tone, smiling slightly. "Yeah, that was me...., I think. Dunno how many strange guys have smiled at you. But I was the one that came riding in on a motorcycle."
He kneels down to the kid and gives him a gentle look. "I'm Till. And I'm pretty sure your grey haired friend is of my blood."
"Grey haired friend?"
They looked around, and then they figured out what he was talking about.
"Oh. Her. We're not really friends ... "
They thought about the name, and it seemed familiar. They tried their best to remember where they could possibly have heard this name before... They then finally remembered.
"Aren't you...one of the contestants from the 50th season of Alien Stage?"
Till frowns a bit. A hint of sadness filled his eyes as he looks away for a moment.
"Yep, that's me. Pretty much the only survivor of that shit-show. Well,.... only known survivor." He tried to smile to lighten things up, but it didn't reach his eyes.
"There is and was nothing good about Alien stage. You put on a show and the lesser idol gets shot like an animal for slaughter."
He bit his lower lip, looking down at the floor. "And the 50th was the worst of them all. Because love became our poison... Not the score or the guns pointed at us."
They simply tilted their head in confusion.
"I liked watching your performances. You can watch them in the museum and that's what I've been doing."
They looked to the side to remember the name of the other contestant who managed to catch their eye in the museum. The way they performed was incredible, but their eyes were the part of them that stayed in their head the most.
"I also liked watching .... Ivan."
They didn't really understand what he meant when he talked about getting shot since the museum cut the parts of the deaths out. They decided not to think about it, though.
A small jolt went through Till's body, his eyes flashing with a vulnerable sadness. He tried to cover it, but it stayed a moment too long. "Ivan.... Yeah. That crazy basterd..." he said softly, almost mumbling. Till reached up and gently rubbed his own neck, memories gently flashing over his eyes. He had gotten better at handling the memories over the years, but it still hurts.
"He was.... Great. Honestly really great. He was also stupid enough to give up his life to save mine... And he was really stupid for ever loving me. But he did, and I couldn't accapt it. It hurt too much." He wasn't sure why he was saying all of this to this kid. But those eyes, it made something ache within him.
"I watched your performances, and it looked like a lot of fun. If I could be a contestant, I would wanna be like you...or Ivan...or like both of you..."
They got tired of standing around, so they sat down on the ground. They looked at the ground and thought about what to say. They played with their hair and looked around. Till mentioned a lot of words they didn't exactly understand...
"I told the others that I saw you. They got a little upset that I didn't talk to you, so..."
"Do you know how to get out of the museum?"
Till sighs deeply, calming himself from the sudden jolt of grief.
"Sure, kid. But never on Alien stage. There are other stages more worthy to stand on. Stages that will have you free and not chained to a death game."
He got a look of determination suddenly. "Yes... I'm getting you all out of here. It might take some time, but I won't stop untill you all are free. These aliens don't deserve any of you for the injustice they did to your DNA donors."
He suddenly smiled so softly, it was almost as warm as a mother's love for her child. "You are special, Lavender. For you, are born of the blood of the two people I loved so much."
"Special? I don't really understand what 'love' means, so I don't get why I'm special, but...thank you?"
They suddenly stared into his eyes intensely for a long long while before finally saying something.
"If we get out of here ... where will we end up?"
This was the question they were most curious about. All they knew was the museum. They didn't know there was an entire world beyond the museum. They knew that there was Alien Stage, but that's all they knew. They were curious about what else exists.
"Of course.." Till rolled his eyes, of course these kids didn't know what love was. The aliens would't bother to teach them neither.
"Love... It's a bit complicated. It's both selfless and selfish. But it's basically when someone means so much to you that they become your reason for living. Their touch and voice becomes the greatest thing you know. But it can also hurt... a lot. And even still, it's what makes us humans who we are. Our greatest necessary evil." He wanted to at least give them the basic understanding. But he wasn't sure how good a teacher he really was.
"Well... There is a place where a city is slowly rising up, away from the Aliens. Who knows if we'll stay there or try again to reach 'Earth'. But it's a place where you can choose your path. No laces, no collars."
"Hm... I wanna go there. I wanna see how it looks outside of this place."
They got closer to him, almost too close. They wanted to know something... they were curious about something.
"Is it more fun outside than it is here?"
They didn't really need entertainment much, they were fine with staring at the museum all day but.. they still wanted to know a place that could be...fun.
Till smiled warmly. "So much fun." He softly stated, his voice breaking a little from the scarring on his vocal cords.
"You'll meet new people and get more friends. You can learn so much more and really.... live."
Oh, what he would have given to have someone tell him the same when he was a kid. But at least now he could give that hope to someone else.
He gently reached out and carefully brushed the back of his hand against the kid's cheek. Wondering if this was the first act of kindness this kid had gotten.
They didn't exactly know how to acknowledge the act of kindness that's been given to them, but they decided to lean into the warm hand.
"I want to go to a more fun place now. I like the museum but I want to see what else is there."
"I want to know how to really live."
They didn't say it with a lot of emotion but you can tell by their eyes how much they want to get out of the museum and explore the world now that this opportunity has been given to them.
"Well.... damn.." Till was going to wait until he got what he needed to get them all out at once. But something in his chest told him he shouldn't let this kid wait. Maybe the others could come up with a better plan to get the rest of the kids out.
"Okay. But first, will you place your faith in me?" He asked softly.
" My faith? "
They looked at him with a confused expression, tilting their head to the side. They weren't sure what to say to that ... this sounded way more serious than they expected.
" uhm... yes ? "
They decided to just say yes in hopes of this being the correct answer to the question. They weren't sure what else to do, so they held their hand out for a handshake, as if they wanted to make a contract or something.
Till smiles softly before gently taking the kid into his arms. Holding them close to his chest as he stood up. "Alright then... Let's take a leap of faith, together."
With the kid on his arm, he takes out a phone to texts a message to the others of the rebellion. Letting them know that they had to act fast to rescue the kids trapped in this glass box, but Till would take care of Lavender.
He puts his phone away in his pocket, taking out a device that he pushed against the other's collar. With a 'snap' it unlocked and fell to the floor, the sound bouncing off the walls for a few seconds.
"Ready?" Till asks with a playful smirk.
As Till held them closely, they couldn't help themselves but grip Till's clothing tightly. It felt so strange to be held by another person, but it wasn't bad. It felt nice. They never even knew that something like this could feel so sweet and gentle...just being held by another person.
" ...Ready. "
They knew very well that they weren't ready for this... but if this doesn't happen now, then they might not even get another chance. They looked up at Till, they trusted him with their life. It might be very stupid to trust a stranger you just met ... but Till seemed like someone they could trust. Maybe it wasn't the smartest thing, but at this point, nothing matters to them anymore.

"Hm?"
They looked at him with a confused expression, and they tilted their head. They needed some time until they realised why he seemed so familiar to them... after a bit of silence, they kind of remembered.

*instead of punching him they simply kick him with full force*
Is that better?
*Kicks back with full force, still crying*
I don't wanna talk to you anymore!

Did I do something wrong?

ah you're right! they do remind me of sua now that you mention it- i do wish i could give it to you, but.. there's no way for me to put it through the glass, unless you have any ideas? - ✩
I don't think that there's a way for you to give it to me... If I find a way you could get to me, I could tell you, but I doubt there is a way...
