The aspect hadn’t actually been expecting much of a response - mostly because she normally closed her portals before her pranks - albeit this one not being as grand as her others - got a reaction. She grabbed her portal’s edges and poked her head through to look up at the man.

“Oh. Uh, you’re welcome... Guy.”

"Haha! Nekko likes having glowy hair," She danced around the aspect of twilight, mimicking her form.

Zoe’s eyes widened as she saw… Herself? She had absolutely no idea what the heck was going on, but it was cool.

“Oh! Oh! Are you me, but from another dimension with a different name or something? Do they have mooncake wherever you’re from? I have so many questions! In a good way.”

Dusty fingertips. Each caress to the wall made her remember the glorious -yet painful- times where they celebrate each Moon phase. Her favourite one was the full moon, in which the silver celestial body’s perfection could be admired at her finest. Suddenly Ernye chuckled as she also thought about Lunari elders, some of them were very austere. Pasifae, her best friend, always tried to drag her into some of her wrongdoings, such as stealing incense powder and  replace it with dirt. How furious they became when they swayed the incense-holder and the dirt ended up everywhere, even on someone’s face! «?!» A strong, yet friendly presence made her raise her head and turn around, facing what she assumed to be a lost child: she was a Targonian without any doubts, as her facial features were very common among Rakkorian youngsters. Was she lost? Even if she didn’t wanted to let the others see her, she couldn’t help but worry about the young one…. Although she looked like to be than a little lively for her! And what did she mean with “I never thought anyone else would be around here”? Was she a Lunari too or something? «…. Are you lost, little one? How do you know about this place? You… You shouldn’t be here, for this place is full of sorrowful memories. …. There’s something strange in you.»

“Strange, huh?”

Zoe put her arms behind her back, taking a few long steps around the place. If it were anywhere else, she would have been hyperactive, flying around and having too much fun for her own good. But the fact that she was somewhere sacred flipped a switch in her head, bringing her liveliness down just a bit. A moment of silence passed as the Aspect poked around, trying to find anything familiar. Though the chances of that were quite low.

“Nah, I’m not lost,” she said with a chuckle and a wide smile. “I’ve been here more times than I can count.”

Suddenly, the kid held her hand out to the other, eyes shining in the moonlight.

“I’m Zoe! I like sparkles, pink stuff and mooncake! Chocolate, specifically.”

Above the tower hides an unpleasant being who has dedicated himself to evil, a being so bad that the villagers couldn’t help but call it “beast” due to not knowing what exactly it is other than a tyrant warlock. Veigar was working on his latest diabolical plan until he started hearing voices from beneath; irritating ones I must say, it was piercing through the Master of Evil’s fox-like ears as he couldn’t help but growl when listening to it.

Veigar has had many types of intruders: from foolish thieves to angry villagers, but never has he had a child entering his domain before. Still, young or not, a trespasser is still unwelcome and severely punished, so he hurried down the stairs of the inner door before squinting through its gap. 

Forcefully opening the old door, he immediately pointed his staff towards the neck of the intruder, tremendously powerful magic ready to blast the Aspect of Twilight’s face. ❝You’ve made a lethal mistake, girl. Entering my domain is rewarded with a painful demise!❞ you could tell by his eyes that he was smirking ❝well well well, any last words~?❞

There he was, the being of so many names and titles that Zoe had just about lost count, in the flesh. There were several parts of him that she hadn’t expected, stature in particular. In fact, it was rather similar to a certain species that the Aspect held a particular affection towards. 

As for the ‘last words’ that he had mentioned, Zoe put up a single finger as she thought. No, she wasn’t exactly intimidated by the encounter - she was rather familiar with a space dragon after all, and magic wasn’t exactly a new concept to her. There was only one thing she could really think to say.

“You... Are so cute!” She just couldn’t help it. “You’re smiling under there, aren’t you? That’s adorable! I could just pick you up and take you home and give you mooncakes!” Suddenly, Zoe remembered why she was actually there, regaining her stature. “Buuuut, apparently you’re evil or something? I dunno, I just got bored.”

“I don;t know what that is, I usually have bubblegum or spicy snacks. What even is a..mooncake?” She asked the other, removing her headphones and shutting off her music.

She couldn’t help but gasp at the question. “How can you not have the best, sweetest treats in the entire universe?” With that, she reached her arm through another portal, grabbing a small mooncake and holding it out to the other Zoe. “Try it!”

She hopped out of her portal, taking a look around.

“So, uh... You got any chocolate mooncake around here? Kinda starving.”

Every so often, Zoe returned to the place she called home back when she was human. Being an ex-student of Lunari priests, she had a personal and emotional connection to the Lunari Temple. To find someone else there when she was visiting was a bit of a surprise, given that she usually came to the temple to explore and reminisce when she expected nobody to be there.

But that didn’t really matter in the heat of the moment. She could somehow tell that the person was Lunari anyway. Also a pretty lady by the looks of it, which was Zoe-code for potential friend.

“Hel-lo! I never thought anyone else would be around here! What’re you doing here, huh? Do you like chocolate mooncake? Can we be best friends?”

Too bad Zoe never thought about the possibility that she was being outright annoying.

Zoe had heard of some sort of “villain” from a small population of yordles - all of whom were absolutely adorable - that had been known to cause problems for the mortals of the world from time to time. Seeing how the young Aspect was bored quite easily, she took the rumors as a bit of a quest.

All she really had to do was find an overflowing source of magic in the world and portal herself right over there. In fact, that amount of energy that she felt upon arrival was much stronger than she had expected. All that was left now was to find this evildoer and bring them to justice. Or perhaps share some chocolate mooncake with them.

“Hello,” she called out. “Is anyone around? I’ve got a few things I wanna say! Do you like sparkles? ‘Cuz I’ve got tons of them!”

The kid really has no idea what to do in these situations.
