"Time to curl up with a good book and retire for the night... Perhaps my eye will feel much better tomorrow? Good night, all."
"Not here. Kid." The Cat replied with a swish of his tail.
"I did ask you where I was, Mister Cheshire."
"Cheeeeeeeeeeeshie~" Oh, he just annoys Cheshire all the time! It's cute to watch him react.
Smiling gently, the blond noticed the girl in her lonesome. She seemed... Frail. It was cute, to him at least. Sliding next to her, a gentle hand touched her's. "Hey... Are you lonely?"
"There's no reason to be lonely anymore, ok? Teacher is here... And so are the other kids... And I'm here. Ok? Loneliness always finds company to combat it in the end."
"Youâre Alice because I said so and if you need to know then itâs Cheshire Cat, not kitty.â
"Was that so hard, Mister Cheshire? I don't think so! And no... My mother told me I am Angel. Not Alice. I believe the woman who birthed me is higher authority than you over my name."
"Donât call me, Kitty. And you are Alice." The Cat said with his usual smarmy tone.
"You are mistaken. My name is Angel, not Alice. And I'll keep calling you Kitty until I get your name~" Angel enjoyed teasing people sometimes, so long as it didn't border on malicious.
Were those two of the kids Angel was supposed to meet? Honestly, he'd shirked off the little task of meeting and greeting the others in order to go to the upstairs library. Having a small stack of books in his hand (assisted by the sleepy Miss Briar with his books before she retired to her room to nap), he smiled.
"Hello!" Toppling down underneath the books, he laughed at his clumsiness. Today was one of the times he would wear his patch, since his eye hurt often. Smiling at the two children, he picked up the books and carefully stacked them on a table. "My name is Angel."
"Oh, great, youâre one of those Alices." He mumbled, straightening his hood. He didnât remember stealing any xxxx from this kid. Then again he didnât always care to remember these things.
"Now that's not very nice. I'll call you... Kitty. Tell me, Kitty, where am I? And before you answer; my name isn't Alice. Nor am I an Alice. I am Angel." The blond chuckled softly, placing hands in his pockets.
Even the strangest of creatures could be smiled towards. The hidden sorrow probably radiated towards the other; but Angel seemed happy. At least, appearance wise. Nodding his head, a gentle hand reached out to pet the other on the head.
"Hello there. Are you hurt? Is that why your hood is up? You can take it down. I won't flinch or anything."
