Her arms open wide and inviting as her internal heat rose to 37 degrees celsius– mimicking the human body. They had prohibited her from directly approaching the students or beloved guests, but she never understood why nor were the directors willing to explain. 

“You’re adorable! Much cuter than anything Monaka ever has to design...”

Despite pouting, Monaka still listened intently to the explanation, her smile soon returning in excitement. Such advanced technology was something she had never seen outside of her own blueprints and inventions. And while she was truly a bit disappointed that the school didn’t commission Towa Group for the tech, learning another’s technique was worth the let down.

As soon as she was invited forwards, Monaka’s wheelchair practically leapt towards the android, a hand outstretched.

“This is silicon?! That’s amazing! The texture is spot-on! The manufacturing of this must have been very specialized, and closely monitored...”

“I know they won’t be happy, but your teachers aren’t my priority. I’m going to be direct. Your teachers aren’t concerned about the reason you cause trouble, right? Your teachers want the classroom to be quiet and calm, for their own comfort level, right? Rather than understanding you and your classmates, they care more about themselves. Right?”

Teachers weren’t her priority? That sounded completely different than every other childcare specialist that was brought in to deal with the troublemakers.

“..... No, they’re not. They’re just annoyed at us. Apparently it’s a lot harder to gather data on our growth if we don’t listen to them. Monaka thinks they’re all dummies, though.”

Amongst all the languages he knew, english surely wasn’t the one he was more confident with - far from that, he was quite aware his english skills weren’t exactly the best. However, he also knew it was necessary for a job which required traveling abroad more often than not, so he could somehow falteringly reply; “ Ah, of course there are… not too close to where we are now, though - you’ll have to walk a bit. Do you want me to accompany you? Aren’t your parents here? ”

“They’re not nearby?”

Sighing, Monaka briefly allowed her head on the back of her wheelchair as she looked upwards. She only gave herself the moment, though, before she was looking towards the stranger once more with an apologetic smile.

“Monaka’s Papa is still busy in meetings right now. Would it be too much to ask for you to help Monaka back?”

“Really? Monaka’s not sure our teachers would be very happy to hear that. We have too much free-will in their view. That’s why we’re the troublemakers.”

She quickly took out a small compact mirror, opening it towards the other girl.
