Somewhat rushed reference for artfight 😭 for this year it's my only one oc (and a fan char for yyh . . .) but my main goal is to draw for other ppl so I hope it's ok
This is his design in backstory, I'll try to draw his current appearance in plot and post full lore and characteristics later, so here's the shortened version
Aleron is a child of bird (dove)-demon and human, born and raised in Demon World. His human father was inspired by his child's potential to use demonic yoki and tried to train him, but Aleron struggled with the development of his spiritual powers. His demon mother, however, insisted that developing yoki was not the most important aspect of life for the harmless demons they were. After his father's death, Aleron continued training with his father's sword, though he had no plans to pursue a future in combat.
Later, Aleron took a job as a postman; due to his responsibility and the high speed provided by his wings, he was sometimes trusted with even the most important deliveries.
Even while living in a peaceful area with other less aggressive yokai, Aleron was troubled by the attitude of most demons towards humans, which he considered unfairly cruel (as far as he knew, being from a sparsely populated area). The turning point for him was the theft of a particularly important relic entrusted to him for delivery, later revealed to be by the legendary thief Yoko Kurama. His disappointment knew no bounds — yokai are cruel and insolent not only to humans but also to their own kind.
His hatred of both the other representatives and himself only increased under the influence of the impulsiveness of a fairly young age, and soon he wanted to have nothing in common with demons, although the main factor of his negative emotions was in fact a feeling of guilt and inferiority.
He decided to leave the Demon World, at least temporarily, obtained human documents with fake information and received a medical education, then a job as a nurse, where he again met Kurama as the son of one of the patients, unaware of his true identity.
Later, they both finally recognize each other, and after some time, Aleron will be able to change his attitude towards Kurama and himself and will become part of the Urameshi team. (And date Kurama. So he's for ocxcanon, too.)
