Black Rock Shooter had seen a lot of things. Otherselves of otherselves, Goddesses, and now.. This girl. Rock couldn’t miss her, she was rather tall, after all. Though anything was tall, when she herself was 5′1. The girl didn’t seem to be from this world, but in a way, she did.. Rock could sense something rather familiar.. An otherself, but not. It was curious really. First things first, she should  see whether the other was a threat or not, then she could decide what to do next. “Are you okay?” A simple question, but it was merely to gauge how responsive the other would be.

It’s one thing to have a “bad” introduction with someone important.

It’s a WHOLE other thing to have tripped and faceplanted in front of them, curse legs and how they operate!

“Me? Y-yeah I’m fineeeee, it’s nothing. Don’t worry about it.”

This mess of a giant picks herself up and opts to sit cross legged in front of the smaller guest. A dumb curious look stuck on her face as she looks Rock over.

“Are YOU okay though Aunt Rock? You’ve never really asked if I was okay before...”

(In terms of the main Other Selves, Yui considers them “family” in a sense, so most of the cast she’ll refer to as her “Aunts” [EX: Aunt Rock, Aunt Saw, Aunt Chariot, Aunt Strength, etc.] this also applies to the other Apostles in the game universe, and she’ll even refer to Stella, Nana, and the Grays as Aunts, even though they’d be more akin to her sisters really, but that’s a little aside the point.

Yui has different relationships with her universes’ respective Other Selves, so she may approach other muses of the main cast under those pretenses, you’re free to tell her otherwise and such, no need to stick to these nature of relationships since multiverse is a thing)

(White pupils, with white concentric rings around them, the Anime implies that most don’t have vivid colors or lines, which have to do with either emotions or being connected/fully aware of your human counterpart or something like that.

Yui isn’t an exception, when she isn’t trying to hide them for a more human look, they’re the exact same, just one is green and the other is purple, they’re also luminescent, meaning the whole eye glows a little, and the white pupil and rings glow a lot.

(90% of Yui’s life is just one half of her body being like “Ya’ll mind if I-” and the other half being like “Excuse you no you cannot.” and so she’s stuck in the middle.

It’s why she can have drastic changes overnight or over time that she has to reign in, like I mentioned the big hands but it can get even worse, things like sprouting horns, bone wings, her hands actually becoming said bone claws, her hair color changing, usually along the choice of purple, black, green,  or white, her eye patterns changing, her voice changing, and even her height changing to be taller or shorter.

All of this is completely involuntary, it’s just an indication of if her Alien genes are winning the battle at the moment [meaning she has more alien influences like her white or black hair and her eye flame presenting itself a lot more], her Other Self ones are [Purple or Green tinted hair, claws or wings or horns, pale white skins sometimes with a green or purple tint, etc], both are equally cutthroat [aka really messed up shit like she has both white hair, with purple or green streaks, maybe a single horn or bone wing, weird half one half other things], or they’re chill [she can actually present as a not completely fucked up human].

She’s kind of scary/terrifying to look at, not because she herself is scary, because of the like, fact you’re watching something that is so problematic in existing to a degree that even it’s own body is fighting itself so badly.)

(In case anyone’s curious, no, Yui’s not really meant to be this tall, Dead Master is around 5′3″ without her horns being measured, which I hc add about another foot and some change if counted.  

We’re not really sure how tall White Rock Shooter is, we know she’s the same height as her clone Stella is, but it’s never really given how tall Stella is, just that she’s shorter than the humans she’s around. But I can’t imagine it being higher than 6′0″ as best.

Yui’s stupid tall because of hybrid complications and because her body has no chill, basically the theme is that both halves of her make-up are sort of in combat with one another, since Other Self traits are aggressively dominant but Alien traits are stupid adaptive and change so they can’t be repressed. 

So they keep trying to sort of upstage one another, and that’s why Yui has issues like her proportions getting slightly out of whack [For example, her hands ending up really big all of a sudden because they’re trying to turn into bone claws like DM’s but her Alien side is like “Nah”, so she just gets big hands until she realizes it and has to shrink them down] and it being hard for her to keep looking human and other things like her appearance constantly changing and being so weirdly tall, it’s all complications because she isn’t one of those perfect hybrids, far from it, she’s just lucky that it all still works somehow.)
