Okay wait Birdy Gear might still be real. Zappa is a kookaburra because I like kookaburra calls and he is like Australian or whatever. Also his xrd hat sorta has a similar shape! Okay this one wasn't too thought out. I will read up on these birds soon TRUST. Also I wanna add that S-ko would be a magpie. Thank you and goodnight.

(March 2026) mmm I had this idea for a while of drawing guilty gear characters as birds but I never got around to completing the list. The only ones I ended up drawing were bedman and delilah (the birds+explanation are under the cut)

Romeo is a Costa's hummingbird and Delilah is a Calliope hummingbird. Something about their bodies moving so rapidly while being such fragile critters stuck out to me as "bedsibling-sy" (cuz their brain processing speeds being super fast). Also I rememember reading something about hummingbirds' torpor state a bazillion years ago and that was particularly bedmanish to me.

Yeah they're different species of hummingbird... I coulda gone with Calliope hummingbirds for both of them (sexual dimorphism pictured below), but the gorget of the Costa's hummingbird is shaped like Bedman’s hair deelies! if you squint. Yup. That's my reasoning.

Okay so I realized I never ever ever posted my other gg oc Jackwagon before. Hello my zest fest. He is a little bit neglected by me. Sorry my zest fest.

I have another gg oc named Colby. He is Jack's BEST partner in crime. I almost never never draw him. In fact, I think these are the only drawings of him that I have.. AND THE DESIGN ELEMENTS AREN'T EVEN UP TO DATE!!! The zipper is inverted to Jackwagon's. My crazy guys ❤️
