Chimeric Unicorns

The body of the horse or the deer With the narwhal's spiral tusk The cloven hoof of the goat, His beard upon the stallions' chins And the lion's tuffed tail Held proud upon the rump While I quite like all unicorns, I find myself with a hankering for the weirder, chimeric beasts of old over modern depictions. Heck, give me a weird unicorn of any sort - anything but another white horse with a stunted narwhal tusk! Well... they're not all that bad, so perhaps the horses with narwhal tusks can come, too, but only on special occasions. Silly Sundays is the tag you want for them and other offtopic beasts such as kirin. REQUESTS?! I LOVE REQUESTS, SEND THEM ALWAYS. (The fill may wait until Sunday if the best one is off topic, but that only increases anticipation!) Occasional artistic nudes - Lady Amalthea from The Last Unicorn is the usual suspect - and gore/blood/violence. All shall be tagged appropriately! Found this “Make a unicorn meme” and people on my Twitter gave me a very interesting mix of features. I know it says “unicorn” but I get some kirin vibes from it. Maybe kirins are somehow related to unicorns or the taxonomy technically puts it under “unicorns”. Nevertheless, it’s a controversial creature for sure.

I was sitting at my friend’s movie shindig several months ago, and I asked him, “Hey MIke, what should I draw?” And he’s like “Draw…a unicorn octopus. With wings.”  I don’t think he was expecting this… He has it framed.  Unipegathulu.

"Necrosis" is a one of a kind, handmade polymer clay sculpture. She was created over a wire and foil armature, painted in acrylic paint, and given goat fur for hair. She is the second zombie unicorn I have done, and has all sorts of rotting, gory details. She is about 4 inches long from chest to bum and 5.5 inches tall from hoof to ear tip.
