Today has been the best day I've had in weeks. Stressing and worrying has made me lose my appetite and tonight I actually ate dinner! We're closed only on Mondays allowing me to go and have a day off to spend with my loved ones especially my pooch Mya. Just wanna say I really do have the best customers. From the good old O&K ones to new faces wishing me good luck. We've come a long way being around for over 20 years. There's always laughter in the shop getting to know everyone. Thanks for all the support and hope you keep supporting us. It has been a whirlwind renovating but a super worthwhile journey. I'm currently in the middle of opening my restaurant. The hardest thing said to me was when my parents said not one of their friends believe I can do it. When I wake up every day and put every inch of my energy into making it work and being told constantly I can't do something is hard and disheartening. But I never give up. Always one of the biggest struggles is believing in yourself when no one else does. It's easy to say harsh words and not think about the effects it can have on people especially when they're trying to be positive. So for those people out there trying to better their lives, don't give up.
