If you’re my friend and you ask me for a drawing, I will do it eventually.

I will tell you that I will be busy, and I WILL be busy.

But you might see me post other drawings, even things that look like they took hours to make. And you’ll be like

“why are they drawing this and not the drawing I asked for?”

Sometimes an artist gets unmotivated when they are asked to draw things, even if it’s from their closest friends. And sometimes it takes time to get some time to do what we are asked.

And, at least for me, most of the time when I draw something that is not your request, it’s because it’s something I’m so passionate about that I had to draw it right away.

A story idea or even a sketch idea that turned into something huge. Sometimes those things take priority to me.

But I will finish your request. So please be patient.

I’m not ignoring what you asked. I’m just preparing myself to do it
