does like anyone know what happened to Plague’s followers? Like I know she sacrificed herself to the entity for them but what happened to them after? Cause I got a couple of ideas and not all are happy ):

So it’s great and all y’all can get yourself off hook when I get there and I don’t have to do anything but-
THE SHEER AUDACITY OF WHEN I RAN MY ASS ACROSS THE MAP TO SAVE YOU AND YOU JUST DO IT YOURSELF
anyways yeah, I ran to save a bill on hook and on his first escape attempt he got off but my unhooking animation had played and bitc—
hey gals, guys, and whatever you identify as! If y’all ever feel uncomfortable around someone, LEAVE! It ain’t worth it! “But id feel bad.” “But they’ve been nice so far.” Who cares!!!! If your body is sending panic and uncomfy signals then don’t ignore them!
I met someone Friday and they’ve been nice! However they were asking me personal questions and kept pressuring me to answer things, I was getting uncomfortable. I also knew they were older than me by a bit. So I DIDNT ignore my gut and since I tend to overthink and have anxiety I just told him something came up!
Listen to your gut guys! If you feel uncomfortable don’t ignore it!
PLEASE I was trying to show someone that the bushes on the Saloon map are great for hiding except the huntress walked into our direction
but like, she didn’t find me, she WALKED into me. She literally didn’t see me and slowly looked down wondering why she couldn’t move until I ran out of the bush
I was just chilling in a bush at the start of the game until this poor huntress walked into me. She dc but it was so funny cause we hid in bushes the entire time when she was about to find us
another small tip I’ve noticed, this will work well for you survivor mains switching to play killer
-you know that red mark in front of all the killers? If they(the survivors) are touching that, no matter how close or far, you can hit them. No one really cares if you abuse the hit boxes
nice
wait what
nice
ok so I wrote about all the killer and put them into 3 different categories however it’s VERY long. It contains all the current killers.
I’m not tagging it so it doesn’t take up space in the Dead by Daylight tag.
But it can be useful for survivors to know what they’re dealing with and useful for killers if they are interested in a certain killer. Frankly, just ask if I didn’t include a detailed description on one and I’ll go into more detail.
(second additional post) killer preferences
wether you are a good killer fully depends on how you play. There are different types of killers who specialize in different areas. These are all written in the POV of a survivor not someone who has played all these killers but someone who’s played against them!!
close distance(works best up close and personal)
-Trapper! while he can place traps as his special his traps only work it someone walks into active ones. Trapper has to rely on getting close to hurt survivors!
-Wraith! he goes invisible and has to walk up to them. while he has the element of surprise it only works up close!
Hillbilly! surprising choice right? while he has a chainsaw, he uses it to travel one place to another, he has to be up close to hit!
-Hag! while she in in the same spot as Nurse, she’s more similar to Trapper. she can’t teleport long distance unless she has placed a trap that gets activated
-Bubba! same as Hillbilly. dude idk I confuse them together all the time
-Nightmare! Freddy Krueger can(idk it’s a perk I think or something) teleport to a gen if two or more are on it. however he has to rely on getting close to you!
-Spirit! She is similar to Wraith. She can travel long distance invisible, however she needs to leave that state in order to hurt you!
-Legion! they rely on getting close to hit. while you can travel a long distance with frenzy you can only apply the deep wound status!
-Oni! He is able to use your blood to fuel his power however he needs to be near you to injure you!
-Blight! He is able to go into a rush similar to Bubba and Hillbilly. However he uses basic and lunge attacks to hurt you!
long distance(works best as longer distance)
-Nurse! honestly I think she fits short distance but with her blink ability she fits long distance. Nurse can move long distance and hit you just as fast. her blink makes it different from Hillbilly’s where she can disappear and reappear!
-Doctor! He is able to hit you with electric shocks that immobilize you. while this doesn’t hurt you, it slows you down and give away locations. Doctor’s special is able to reveal multiple survivors if they are within range!
-Huntress! She literally throws hatchets. she can hit you from long distance and close up. she can be very useful if you have good directional control and aim!
-Clown! He falls into the same category as Doctor. His afterpiece tonic slows you, blurs your vision, and makes you an easier target! he isn’t much of a threat but his afterpiece tonic is very dangerous to get caught in!
-Plague! I’m a bit hesitant to put her here however she is able to corrupt gens, pallets, and hooked survivors with her vomit. Even in a chase she can hit you. Same as Clown and Doctor, her vomit reveals your location, however you can also infect others!
-Demogorgan! They are able to lunge at you from long distance. Demogorgan can also create portals and “traverse the upside down” this allows them to travel long distance in a short time. but remember, demogorgan can’t close portals but you can!
-Deathslinger! He is able to use his harpoon gun to grab onto you and pull you towards him. However by going behind things or a another survivor blocking you, you can get out. getting out gives you the deep wound status and not escaping in time gets you injured or downed!
special! (there special is unique!)
-Shape! Micheal Myers, idk I haven’t read his ability in awhile, but he’s self explanatory
-Pig! with her reverse bear traps that you have to get off she earns a place on the special list! her traps, unlike Trappers can kill you!
-Ghostface! idk he can crouch and if you reveal him you get exposed. he’s useful for stealth but not necessarily remarkable. however Ghostface mains are scary
-Pyramidhead! He can be both a long distance and close distance killer. He has earned a place on the special list because of his built in mori however. he is able to create dangerous paths behind and a quick attack infront of him. By walking, or getting hit, into these you get barbed wire on you and you can either be moried or sent to a special hook/cage!
-Twins! They’ve gained a spot on special since both Charlotte and Victor can be controlled! Victor(you know, the fetus looking thing) can run faster and can pounce on you, if you don’t get him off he can cause damage and even down you I believe. Charlotte is a normal killer but it’s her twin you have to watch out for!
(addition to my previous post) it’s literally just explaining how I play
go after the first survivor you see, I would suggest that after a minute of chasing you can either choose to go after them or go to a gen, if you haven’t hit them yet you wasted time, just leave.
go after the easiest person, if that means hitting someone off hook, so be it. (And to you toxic killer mains: shut up about gen rushing, it’s their job— and to you survivor mains: you’re injured, therefore you’re the easiest target, we aren’t tunneling we are using common sense)
going after the easiest is a blow to the high ranks, bet you hadn’t thought that? low ranks, you ARE part of the team, you have a significant impact on the game. A psychological impact. if you aren’t in a call, it can work the best, they don’t know you’re skill level and you can’t communicate to the others. the second you die, they lose hope. the living survivors see people are dying fairly quickly and think the killer is good.
When they assume the killer is better than they are, they’ve doomed themselves, they give up. after two dead, they get sloppy, they start messing up, pressure gets to them. it gets easier to catch the people you couldn’t get before. you’ve won the game at that point, and if anything, don’t hook them cause the other can find hatch
more killer tips!
chase them all around a bit, once you know their basic running skills you know who the weakest and strongest links are
go after weaker ones first. it shouldn’t take long but if it does, leave, it’s not worth our time to chase things we can’t get
idk tunnel them a bit I guess, this works best with people in calls together(I’m gonna make a new post on this specific tip cause I have a lot to say)
everyone has different play styles, I tend to play on the verge of somewhat toxic behavior(ex. going after weaker survivors, proximity camping) different killers might work better than others
maybe you prefer to get close and sneak attack, or place traps, maybe you like to snipe them across the map(I’m also gonna make a post on this describing more in depth)
when chasing go behind obstacles, if they go along walls go on the other side. they lose sight of you and tend to turn at the end, right into you
work on damaging gens, even in a chase! you have time to chase them! you don’t have time to waste gens damage reduction
the cornfield trick, they run into the cornfield and stop running. follow the tracks into the corn maze, and look at the curve of the scratches(are they leaning more left or right?) follow that direction, sometimes you need to stand still and listen for the corn moving. they’ll either move towards the gen they were at or the building for cover
don’t let them loop, at the second or third loop just leave, they know what theyre doing. they are literally wasting time, you gain nothing from looping and they gain gens
I have more but I don’t want it to be too long. if it’s too long then it blocks up y’all’s amazing art also I’m not tagging the additional posts so I don’t cramp up the dead by daylight tag, they’re on my blog though
just some small things I’ve noticed when in trials
How to tell if survivors are in a call or party together
they either seem to avoid you easily or know where you are most of the trial
(from a recent experience)if you hook someone and most of the survivors come and crowd around you to get them off hook, they are in a call, no randoms ever exhibit this behavior
a hive mind like way of playing, gens are getting done and saves are a lot faster(ex. you hook someone and they get saved as soon as you leave and get healed pretty quickly after)
you are after a survivor and someone else comes and body blocks, this isn’t a guarantee but it’s not common for randoms to do this
if all survivors come to body block, they are all or mostly in a call with eachother, no randoms are able to figure out all at the same time to do the same thing
body blocking for certain survivors that are on death hook, when I play with randoms or in my group, you don’t remember the hook stages of each person
running to the survivor on death hook to help
(from experience, sorta hard to tell until after the game) the second last survivor on hook gives up really quickly and almost immediately the last person finds hatch, the person gave up because they were told the other found hatch
the people run around each other almost easily, as if they know the others next move(ex. both looping or running you while gens are getting done)
also safe to assume most of the time that if there are 2+ Xbox players they’re in a party, treat them as if they are even if they aren’t
feel free to add more, I’ve just noticed these things. and I can prove most of these things since I play almost regularly with a group and see and do some of these things
my friend messing with me: oh I thinks it’s the trapper!
me taking in a violent deep breath before letting it go trying to not go off on trapper: ok then :)
I’m so sorry for you Trapper mains but-
I hate him, I hate him so goddamn much
literally sucks ass, horrible, a bitch
idk why I hate him, my brain just woke up one day and decided violence against the trapper
Anyone who plays trapper is very nice, you’re valid, an absolutely breathtaking person
my daily challenge was to hit 4 times after coming out of invisibility using wraith
I completed that fairly quickly and then decided to walk up to random survivors cloaked and ring my bell and when I tell you they BOOKED it
I did it to the Bill and the second he heard it he bolted out so fast it didn’t even register for a second
also respect for you Wraith mains, I have no clue how you listen to him growl the entire game
I’m so sorry guys, I found the dbd confessions blog and I can’t even with y’all
some of y’all are the horniest bitches ever and some of y’all are like “I wanna make a pizza with Dwight🥺”
like what th-
I was hiding behind a cactus on the saloon map and I was there cause I saw Ghostface above us(around 45-50meters away)on a building
anyways, like the dumbass I am, I thought “yo could I expose him from here?”
so I peak, very slightly out, and look in his direction, the music starts and I reveal him. only now does it click that I am also exposed in my hiding spot
he didn’t find me and I escaped that match along with everyone else
