Intro time!

Yes, I know im making this way after starting my account, but who cares?

I dont really post as much as I interact with other's posts and repost them, so I'm not sure if a proper introduction even matters.. but im making one anyway!

Here's the basics:

Im Chloe!! I go by she/her and have started to publicly identify as bi since 2025

My main fandoms are My Hero Academia, Tokyo Revengers, Umamusume and Danganronpa. Id say I post about mha the most, but always expect more!

Ive been a selfshipper bedore i even knew the term existed! It would take a month to count all my ships, but my heart resides with my main f/o, Stain aka Chizome Akaguro ♡

All of my ships are sharing, so doubles are absolutely free to interact! Im also fine with not being interacted for the sake of nonsharers. Im alright as long as you are!

Most of my posts are rants that are occasionally yumeship-related, so dont expect tons of serious posts (BUT I also post yume imagines very occasionally!)

Some of my reposts might end up being suggestive, but id never repost straight-up smut. Do still be careful with this though.

-My usual identifier tag is just #wife of stain or #🧠🩸 (aka brainbleed), but I dont use it often. Its mostly for posts where I namedrop my f/o.

I might make a post talking about my ship in full, but thats it for now!

F/o who always has something to say about how good you look.

Got a new outfit? They love it. To them, you're gorgeous, but they say that about anything tou wear. Sick and disheveled in bed? They don't care. They stand a few feet away for safety reasons but they will absolutely still emphasize how beautiful you are. In the middle of a date? They're trying really hard to pay attention, but its no use. They just end up staring at your face the whole time. If you call them out, they get a rapid blush down to their neck and give the shyest of exposed apologies.

You do finally ask them at some point why they bring it up so much, even if you hardly seem insecure about looks. They get shy about trying to explain, but all they can come up with is that they're captivated by you.

F/o who is much too attentive for their own good. You don't have to lift a finger as long as they're alive and breathing.

If youre hungry? Great. They're already on their way to get a whole ass meal together for you while you lay in waiting. You've been eyeing something cute that happens to make a perfect gift? They're rushing to whichever place they can find it first. They don't care how much they have to spend or how long it takes to find it. Getting a bit worn out? They are now your personal couch. Put it to good use.

If you give them a thanks or even just a small smile, they immediately light up with pride and run to find more tasks to take care of for you to chase that high that comes from your praise. Your happiness is their holy grail.

Real Heroes don't call themselves Heroes

Okay, this might be a bit of a convulted nitpicking point.

But in most superhero stories, superheroes don't call themselves "heroes".

Because one of the heroic qualities commonly recognized is humility, and calling yourself a "Hero" comes off as incredibly self-aggrandizing.

Of course not all superheroes are humble, but prideful of egocentric heroes like Iron Man have their ego be an explicit character flaw that they must struggle with and overcome to be truly heroic.

Charlatans like Captain America, Wonder Woman, Supergirl or Spiderman don't consider themselves Heroes.

They (when they are well written) see themselves as just somebody trying to do the right thing.

They don't think of themselves as in a different CATEGORY from normal people.

Wich brings us to MHA, were Pro Heroes explicitly consider themselves Heroes and what they do as "heroic".

Wich as Stain argued, makes the word "Hero" lose all meaning, because its used so often and so casualy that it loses its weight.

Now, this could have been written well.

Like it was set up in the beginning of the series, when it looked like there would be a criticism of Hero Society and how it has lost itself and forgotten what real heroism is.

And that one of the themes of the story would be "what is a True Hero"

But ultimately there is no payoff, Hero Society is never properly criticized and its issues never faced and dismantled.

So we have "Heroes" wich end up not feeling very heroic because of their lack of humility, as they come off as incredibly self righteous by calling themselves "heroic".

F/o who feels the need to be your overbearing knight in shining armor at all times. Yes, even if you're stronger than them. It always happens in the most mudane situations too.

Leaving to get groceries? They'll stand so close behind you throughout the whole trip that they are practically breathing down your neck. Going out with friends or family? Fine, they'll spare you the embarrassment of having an overprotective guard dog of a partner in front of the people you like. However, they will absolutely blow up your phone every few minutes to make sure no disasters have happened yet. Going on a date with them? Lovely! They adore every second of it, but they still sneak a bite or two from your food to do a "poison test" (Yes, it's also an excuse to steal a bite, but the last thing your f/o wants is for their love to get sick! It's only half-joking).

Even if the situation couldn't get remotely dangerous, they will still be all over you. It's not like their obsessed or anything! ...Okay, that was a huge lie. They're totally obsessed with you~ ♡

F/o who absolutely MUST have at least one of their hands on you at all times. Your shoulder, your hand, holding onto your arm or squeezing your side. Its almost their equivalent of a stress toy. Its not a fulfilled day for them without kneading their s/o like dough!

Though if you get annoyed, they'll stop in their tracks and just keep the squishing in their head. No guarantees that they won't still hover over you though... ♡

Puppy f/o whose tail wags faster than a cheetah can run when they finally spot you coming through the door. They make the mopiest pouting face possible after a long day at home.. only to be consoled by scritches and belly rubs a few seconds later by their one and only s/o! ♡
