Okay, a few things;

For those of you waiting on responses from my Chloe blog, they are on the way, I promise. I was trying to make a dent in my backlog of responses for this blog first but realized that it was going to take me longer than expected. So I will be hoping over to @chloek-rt600 sometime today to see what’s happening over there.

For those of you waiting on responses from this blog, thanks for your patience, will be making a progress report later today. 

If any of you are actually still waiting on that podcast, it is in the works but will likely be delayed because of everything going on in my life and me listening to how terrible my voice sounds recorded. XD

I may have to start blocking personal blogs. Now this isn’t because any of them have done anything that aggravated me personally and most of them have followed my rules. However, my activity log is a bit of a mess because of them. So, if you are a personal blog and I unfollow/block you, please don’t take it personally. It’s for organizational purposes only.

I’m Not Dead!

Hey everyone, I’m still here!

Thanks so much for the support and patience from those of you who have been waiting on responses from me. 

I actually hadn’t intended my little hiatus to last this long but there ended up being an unexpected amount of drama surrounding the passing of one of my family members. 

Without getting into too much detail, I’ve been dealing with some infighting regarding the person’s will and who is actually invited to the funeral. 

So, yeah, that’s been fun. 

And while the drama isn’t exactly over, I figured it was about time I got back to writing. 

I may not be too active today because I’m planning on writing up as many responses as I can so I can do a reply dump either later today or early tomorrow. 

Thanks again for your patience and understanding, I missed all of you and am glad to be back!

Good morning everyone, I’m going to make this fairly short.

Earlier this morning I was informed that one of my relatives had passed away. While they weren’t a part of my immediate family, it is hitting me and my family very hard.

So, I’m going to take a few days off from writing and probably just Tumblr in general.

I’ll occasionally be checking my messages if you’d like to DM me but otherwise, I won’t be posting.

Hey, everyone, sorry for the lack of activity today but I have a little announcement, I’m starting a podcast! Or at least, I’m going to try starting one. The title, as you may have guessed, is RP for Newbs, Experts, and People Who Think we’re Weirdos! The podcast description is below;

Welcome to RP for Newbs, Experts, and People Who Think we’re Weirdos! Or for short, RP for Everyone? As the title suggests, this podcast will be focusing on exploring what exactly RP is and the various aspects of it. This will range from things like shipping to original characters, and perhaps more importantly, why some of us spend such a large portion of our lives participating in it. This podcast isn’t just meant for those of us who are already a part of the RP community or even those already interested in it. One of my main purposes with this podcast is to speak to people who may have no intention of ever being a part of the community but know someone who is in it. It’s an awkward position to be in and the basic definitions on google aren’t always helpful. I’m Back!

Hey everyone, glad to say I have safely returned to civilization! 

Had a great camping trip with my family but I did miss the internet…

oh, and all of my followers too, I guess? XD

Seriously though, hope all of you had great weekends as well!

I need to take care of a few things since we just got back but I will hopefully be starting on those responses soon. 

But honestly, I may hold off on writing until tomorrow. 

Depends on how I’m feeling after I get myself settled.

I will be camping with family from Friday afternoon to Monday (July 20th to July 23rd), so I will most likely not be active! 

This is somewhat dependent on how good my connection is when we arrive at the campsite but past experience has taught me that I will most likely be completely cut off. 

If not, I may be slightly active on Discord but if no one hears from me on Saturday, you can presume I have no internet access. 

I will re-blog this right before I leave on Friday to remind everybody!

She then moved to continue walking in the direction she had intended on going before running into the man, gesturing for him to follow her. "If you'll come with me?"

“Well, when I’m not aiding Elijah, I usually go into stasis. Though I do also clean his residence and as I said, I will test my cognitive abilities with small tasks. Such as solving a Rubik's cube or putting together puzzles.”

Chloe's LED shifted to yellow again when he confirmed that his name was, in fact, 'Doctor.' It certainly wasn't a common name but as not to be rude, she didn't question him further on the subject. Although she did perform a brief facial scan to confirm the information...only to find that there were no records available on him.

A tourist indeed.

She noticed the man talked rather quickly, jumping from subject to subject as he spoke, without a clear point he was heading towards. Though she didn't attempt to speak up herself until he'd finished, even when he began to...wave what appeared to be a screwdriver around her. Chloe briefly considered the possibility of the man having some sort of mental disorder until he complimented her.

Offering a small smile, she nodded in acknowledgment, "Thank you. Are you not familiar with CyberLife's work?"

Chloe followed after him slowly, stopping in the doorway of the bathroom and watching him for a short moment.

"...Will it hurt?" She asked cautiously.

Chloe took in an unnecessary breath, beginning to calm down slightly at the feeling of Elijah's soothing gestures and sound of his repeated apologies. She didn't understand why she felt this way, why Elijah's words were making her feel better, why she'd begun to feel anything at all.

It hadn't always been this way and she couldn't help but wonder when that had changed...when she'd begun to care about her own existence.

One thing was for certain, if the same events that occurred today had happened when she'd first been created, her reaction would have been...well, she probably wouldn't have had one.

"...No, it's-...it's okay..."

It was impossible not to forgive him. After all, it wasn't entirely Elijah's fault. As intelligent as he was, Elijah was the type of man that often missed the forest for the trees. He would become so transfixed on certain things that he could tend to miss how that thing would affect those around him. 

She didn't think it was a conscious ignorance so much as a blissful one.

"...I'm okay."

Hey everyone! So sorry for my absence, I’m not on hiatus and like I said previously, I’m not planning on abandoning this blog! 

I just haven’t been feeling writing for Chloe lately but I’m in a “I want to get stuff done” mood today so I’m going to work on some drafts! Thanks so much for understanding and being patient with me, you’re all wonderful!

Some Changes

So, this might not come as much of a surprise to some of you but I’m going to be switching the titles between my main blog and side blog. In other words, my @allenhardingoc blog will now be my main blog and @chloek-rt600 will be my side blog.

I hope this doesn’t upset anyone but I have come to the realization that I get a lot more enjoyment out of writing for Allen than I do Chloe.

For my Allen blog, nothing is really going to change. For my Chloe blog, all this really means is that, I won’t be as active on it as I am on my Allen blog. For those of you that have threads with me on my Chloe blog, I am not dropping them. I will continue to rp on that blog but responses will come slower. If you’d like to drop any threads you have going with me on that blog because of that just shoot me a message and I’ll understand.

Also, while my ask box will remain open on my Chloe blog, I won’t really be re-blogging any ask memes unless I become low on threads.

When you get right down to it rping isn’t an obligation, it’s a fun pass time and this change will make it more fun for me personally.

It was a reminder of a time when she wasn’t...the same person she is now. Not to say Chloe was even fully aware of who she was but still.
