In fact, he is the only one in the house who can accidentally set the kitchen on fire by only whisking eggs

Also, if he bakes cookies, they pass as explosives which are probably banned in 92 countries

He is actually good acting

He was born early enough in the year to be moved up a year level at school. So out of all the 15-16s in the house, he is the only one in Year 11

Aside from doodling, the only other 'slow' activity he's actually decent at is knitting for some reason, but it especially helps when he wants to get through reading material for school and when he needs to sleep earlier

The Herba-Baxas Race

PROJECT: Star Piaros and Beyond

NAME: Herba-Baxas

OTHER NAME(S): Super-baxas

DESCRIPTION: A sub-species of baxas created as biological weapons. A much physically and mentally shortened version of their mother-race, but with the ultimate amount of baxas power.

SUMMARY: Weapons of war – a genetically modified sub-species of baxas that sacrifice a majority of their health and physicality in exchange for their powers. Along with much of their mother-race, some herba-baxas escaped their home planet to seek refuge elsewhere in outer space. Not only, were these herba-baxas brought as a means of defense, but also for these biological weapons to get a chance to live thier lives as normal, even despite their shortened physical strength, intelligence, and lifespan.

HOMEWORLD: Planet Ile-Irkahta, Ralozian system

HABITAT: Military bases & tropics (formerly), Worldwide (currently)

DIET: Herbivorous

LOCOMOTION: Bipedal

LIFESPAN: 90 years

UNIQUE ABILITIES: Elemental and conditional powers that are comparable to witchcraft and the paranormal. Limited by the type of ‘nimalphama’ herbs consumed.

SPECIES ORIGIN: Baxas

STATUS: Active (endangered)

APPEARANCE:

Head and Neck: Three small horns on the top of the skull, four eyes arranged similarly to the wings of a butterfly, a mane in the likeness of human hair, long extensions to ears with large amounts of white bioluminiscent coils bunched at the ends -- much more than a typical baxas

Upper-body: Two arms, hands with three fingers and a thumb (the furthest finger with a curved claw sits at the end of the wrist), short and thick hoof-like claws, dewlaps with a significantly more amount of fur

Lower-body: Ungulate-like hind legs, hoofed, a significant amount of fur growth along the hips (often covering the groin), a long tail with a line of tick, white bioluminiscent fur along its perimeter -- much more than a typical baxas

Colours: A dull/muted pink to yellow-green. Ranges from light to medium. Accents are always lighter or darker than their primary colour by a significant amount

Avg. Adult Measurements: 160cm, 55kg

HISTORY:

Were created in secret as the objective of a biological experiment

Slowly came into existence by scientists gradually genetically engineering a sub-species of baxas which enhanced their powers in exchange for their physicality, mentality, and lifespan

When the project was complete, they had entire armies

While the war between the herba-baxas and their invaders was at its height, the baxas found their chance to escape the star system and disperse throughout outer space

Some of the herba-baxas were brought along in the voyages

A group of those baxas and herba-baxas refugees made it to the Piarosar system

Herba-baxas were built to be powerful enough to match giant, technologically advanced extraterrestrial beings

When the baxas found refuge on other planets, they tried to hide the herba-baxas (or at least their powers) as much as possible

The Stolluk Race

PROJECT: Star Piaros and Beyond

NAME: Stolluk

OTHER NAME(S): Bine People, Fora People

DESCRIPTION: A species created as biological weapons. Inspired by the vine beasts in Imest's Proclian grasslands, they can grow and re-grow branches from their limbs, and feel no pain if any of them are sliced off.

SUMMARY: A biologically-engineered species built for combat purposes during the Piarosar War Against Robots (PWAR). Now these beings are left to live among the rest of the civilizations that built them. Most of the stolluk population lives around the outskirts of many cities throughout the system. Some have even been accepted to settle within cities and towns. Due to their more aggressive nature – compared to the many other alien races – it is common for them to be discriminated against and generally socially avoided. Stolluks appear plant-like and possess a power that creates growths on their limbs, as well as quick regeneration. Also, because they were a species created from biological engineering, they have no natural way of reproduction. Instead, they have to plant their children in incubators.

Head and Neck: Various head shapes. Two front-facing eyes. The sclerae are a dark colour

Upper-body: Various torso thicknesses. Two bine-like arms. Three leaf-like "fingers" at the ends. Arms have no joints and instead bend like noodles.

Lower-body: Four bine-like legs. Single leaf-like "feet" at the ends. Legs have no joints and instead bend like noodles.

Stolluks were one of the species created for the Piarosar War Against Robots

They played the role of the pawns

Successful ones would collect intelligence and/or eliminate/hinder enemies

Their creators figured they needed more intelligence, so more was implemented, even despite being aware of the ethical consequences

After the war, the stolluks were left alone to try to mingle with modern society

Most need to resort to living in the wilderness and slums because their species is not recognised as “true” people

MISCELLANEOUS:

Stolluks have no reproductive organs and no organs for nourishing young. Interestingly, stolluks were engineered to have figures as if they were to have such organs, merely for the aesthetics of what people normally find attractive.

During the PWAR They were engineered and manipulated to feel that war was a good thing for them to participate in

Many of them are naturally prejudiced against robots and androids, and are skeptical towards technology

They were designed inspired by the vine beasts spread across Dipuenian grasslands

Due to their short life-spans, they grew to be very aware of their mortality, so there were conflicts among them: should they fulfill their brutal, thrill-seeking nature or should they live life to the fullest and avoid pointless violence?

The Baxas Race

PROJECT: Star Piaros and Beyond

NAME: Baxas

OTHER NAME(S): Tricorn People, Demons/Devils/Demon People (outdated, derogatory)

SUMMARY: Like humans, baxas are foreigners to the Piarosar system. They entered into the system during an interplanetary war between Imest, Stawdos and Anrakid, and remained hidden until the war was over to reveal themselves. The baxas are refugees, originating from a nearby star system which was trapped under the tyrannous authority of a more advanced alien race. Since the human race arrived before the baxas did, naturally, the two alien races would encounter each other. The natives of the Piarosar system grew used to these baxas fairly quickly – they already surpassed their anxieties with the arrival of the humans – however, the humans took their time. The humans were particularly prejudiced because of the general baxas appearance. Much of the baxas' physical characteristics share a lot in common with many demonic figures in Earthling religions, folklore and literature. Baxas have three horns, four eyes, ungulate-like hind legs, are mostly left handed, and possess powers that are comparable to witchcraft and the paranormal. Currently, the baxas have a secret. In their voyage, they brought with them weapons of war – a genetically modified sub-species of baxas that sacrifice a majority of their health and physicality in exchange for their powers. Not only, were these herba-baxas brought as a means of defense, but also for these biological weapons to get a chance to live thier lives as normal, even despite their shortened physical strength, intelligence, and lifespan.

Head and Neck: Three horns on the top of the skull, four eyes arranged similarly to the wings of a butterfly, a mane in the likeness of human hair, long extentions to ears with white bioluminiscent coils bunched at the ends

Upper-body: Two arms, hands with three fingers and a thumb (the furthest finger with a large curved claw sits at the end of the wrist), thick hoof-like claws (often cut short), dewlaps with a significantly more amount of fur

Lower-body: Ungulate-like hind legs, hoofed, a significantamount of fur growth along the hips (often covering the groin), a long tail with a line of white bioluminiscent fur along its perimiter

Colours: Pink to yellow-green. Ranges from light to dark. Accents are always lighter or darker than their primary colour by a significant amount

While the war between the baxas and their invaders was at its height, the baxas found their chance to escape the star system and disperse throughout outer space

A group of those baxas refugees made it to the Piarosar system

NAME: Drone Asturen

DESCRIPTION: An amiable Vomissidese drone from the Eurvai colony, who failed his nuptial flight.

ROLE: Protagonist

RACE: Human (Vomissidese variation)

APPEARANCE:

Average height, chubby

Reddish-brown hair, generally short but with over-grown sides. His fringe is held back by a headband. Facial hair is shaved clean.

Brown skin tone

His armour: A helmet with a fire symbol, decorated with red plants. His visor looks like goggles. Collar armour is golden, large and extends to his shoulders. The shoulder plates and breastplate are merely decorative -- they look like small gongs. He wears decorative bands on his wrists and legs. A belt has small purses attached to it.

Underneath: Wears a loose, sewn vest and a waistcloth.

Primarily wears warm colours, primarily red and orange.

GOAL: Asturen wants to go sightseeing around the world, and he wants better mobility. So, he plans to get his hands on one of those Feramellian Scooters. Also, he's lonely (and especially bummed that he'll never meet a princess), so he wants someone to travel with, as well.

Slacked off most of the time, never paid attention to many important things

Spent most of his days lazily and comfortably. All he knew was bliss

He was always curious about the outside world, though, and constantly asked his sisters about it

He stole a guitar-drum right before his nuptial flight

Despite the fact that he was illiterate, he loved listening to poetry and songs. He would ask his sisters to transcribe his poems and lyrics for him

Asturen's name comes from the word "astern"

Because fire ants originate from the northern parts of South America, his armour is vaguely inspired by the Mayans

Tall, athletic

Purple hair, shoulder length

Has a small, neat goatee

Light brown skin

Armour is shiny and purple. I don't have a really good description for it yet, but it's vaguely based off a samurai's (see 'Random Facts' for more details). A honey-coloured jewl decorates his headband, and spots around his armour.

Underneath he wears a long grey wrap shirt with indigo pants

GOAL: Heda never liked how constricted he was while growing up. When he found out how vast the outside world was, he became incredibly eager to explore it. He enjoyed how thrills felt so he got into danger a lot, even messing with the wrong people. He aimed to do as much as he could with his life before his inevitable death. After befriending Asturen, he decided to tone his actions down, but he was already on the run from some dangerous individuals that he angered.
