Hey guys! Sorry I've been MIA. Lots of changes happening right now. But this is my breakfast--gluten free maple brown sugar oatmeal with cherries on the side. I recently started following a high-carb vegan diet. Animal products just aren't sustainable. I know most people rely heavily on them in their diets, but the stats can't be denied. So, I'm just doing my part to lessen the environmental burden that meat/dairy production puts on the earth. Also, despite feeling amazing on the keto diet, I'm finding I feel almost as good on a high carb diet and I feel way less deprived! Also my cravings for unhealthy foods are going away because if I crave something sweet, I eat banana nicecream. If I'm craving something savory, I eat homemade French fries with ketchup! So far I've been vegan for a month! Though not completely because I visited my grandparents and they already have a tough time with my diet changes all the time so I ate the food I was given. Anyway, I feel less guilty for multiple reasons when I eat vegan and I feel like it's nourishing my body. No more muscle cramps like I got on keto!
