MASOCHIISTE,
❝ so uh...lovely WEATHER we’re having, huh? ❞ he didn’t hate the cullens’ like most of his brothers, but he still didn’t generally like them and often found himself unsure of how to be around them.
🔪
send me 🔪... — accepting
getting hurt on the job wasn’t unusual. it was usually nothing more than a few scrapes && cuts but the number of times one of the boys was ushered into the uleys’ living room with a broken bone ( or four ) was uncountable. a vampire would somehow waltz past the boundary line, give them a run for their money, && be destroyed before making too much of a fuss for the pack. except this was different. the pack was fast but they were faster && nobody ever saw it coming. not until he phased out, cutting off all mental contact with the pack.
he honestly didn’t know how he ended up on the couch. one minute he was outside in the woods, the branches && leaves catching his fall && the next he wasn’t, some of the boys running around him inside. he couldn’t make out what they were saying, their voices carrying a wave of chaos through the house as things were being shouted back and forth. a frantic female voice ( emily? ), a deep commanding voice ( sam? jacob? ), voices he couldn’t place when any other day he could pinpoint who was who by just a whisper.
he heard her gasp before he felt that familiar pull, the now lessening pull. a sure sign of what he felt was coming. shuffling, shuffling. shouting. her voice. ❝ claire— ❞ the words pushed from his lips, his breath catching as it felt like a weight sat upon his chest. it was then that the pain came rushing in. his teeth clenched together, the bones in his body feeling as if they were disintegrating at an alarming speed. he felt her soft hands press against his cooling arm, the weight of them as sure as her voice in his ear, whispering words he couldn’t make out. he wanted to touch her, tell her to leave because this wasn’t something she needed to be apart of, yet he couldn’t find the words.
they had never known for sure this would happen but as he felt his body react to the bite, shutting down && cooling down much too quickly, he was now living proof of what the legends of the tribe say.
Send me 🔪 to find my muse severely injured!
LOCHNESSHYBRID,
❝ if i agree to watch ANY movie you pick, can i crash here for a an hour or two? ❞ patrols had been brutal the last few days thanks to a scent they had caught not far out of town && all he wanted was a nap before his next round.
HEADCANON TIME,
much like his brothers, quil loves food. he loves the way it smells, the way it tastes, the way some foods can just bring back insanely beautiful memories of when you were younger. he loves watching his mom or emily make it and trying to help ( though he’s very little help in the kitchen really ). he just loves the process and how it goes from ingredients to a cake and the precious moments that come from making food with someone you care about.
unlike his brothers though, quil is a vegetarian. it partially comes from the legends. ‘ if the wolves are our brothers and we aren’t allowed to hunt them, why do we hunt other things? ‘ it also comes from how his mother chose to raise him. though he was raised being told it’s every person’s choice and she wouldn’t hold it against him to choose to not be a vegetarian, he never liked the idea of eating meat and still won’t.
CLAIRDCLUNE,
❝ you uhm, ❞ fingers lift from the spoon and gesture to her own lips, a smirk lifting one side up. ❝ have a little ice cream you missed. ❞
like this for a starter??
CLAIRDCLUNE,

her palms sweat when she was nervous. toes tingling before stepping on stage, butterflies fluttering in her throat before a big presentation—anytime she was doing something that caused adrenaline, her palms would sweat. cliff diving, it seemed, was no different. over and over again she had been warned to stay on the lower cliff if she were to jump. over and over again sam, emily, leah, seth…quil. they all told her the same thing
“stay safe, the water can be dangerous”
but here she was, poised at the edge of a rock with the water roaring under her. the day was surprisingly bright, the sun taunting as it outlined the jagged rocks she had to miss from this high, high ledge. the ledge that the wolves usually jumped off of.
of course, she knew. she was in on the secret–had been since birth. they jumped from here because they could handle it. many times human kids had tried to join in, and they all failed in varying ways. some chickening out before jumping, others getting hurt and scolded by the council elders. but when a brown eyed boy asked a scrawny fourteen year old girl to hang out, well, she couldn’t just say no. and that was how she got here–shaky knees and sweating palms. from behind her came the jeers of her friends, laughing and telling her to just get on with it. just j u m p. but something held her there, her heart racing like a tiny bird trying to escape its cage. and from behind her, the brown eyed boy who walked up and pressed his hand to her lower back where it was only separated from her bare skin by a big t shirt over a tiny bikini. his touch, strangely c o l d.
“C’mon claire bear, you can do it”
❝ hey! ❞ his voice sharp and loud, cutting through the throng of cheering kids. and that's all that ( most of them ) were to him, just silly kids testing fate and pushing those that knew the rules past the safety line. ❝ you think this is fun? convincing people to jump from here? ❞ anger pulsed through his voice but better that than his body, his hands already clenched tight to gain some control over his wolf.
he was one of the better of the pack at keeping his outbursts down, hardly ever happening anymore, but seeing her among the kids made it worse. hell, it was one of the ONLY reasons he stopped patrol to come out here. ❝ do you know how many kids — older than any of you! — have hurt themselves from this height? ❞ dark eyes scanned the group, settling on claire and the boy beside her. no doubt his nails would leave imprints in his palm with how tight his hand was but it didn’t matter. all that mattered was not growling ( or god forbid, phasing ) in front of her ‘ friends ‘.

chocolate orbs downcast, hands clasped behind her back as her lower lip trembles.
“ kuh—kuhwil?”
mumbles her words in a whisper from where she stands beside the couch, the wolves looking at her with a mix of amusement and concern.
“ m-member how you told me’s n o t to eat the cookies before nap time?”
he knew she was here before she even spoke, the pull giving her location away before her voice ( or even scent ) could. eyes moved towards her before anything was uttered, falling from the laughs of his brothers to the small girl beside him. his stomach fell slightly at her avoided gaze and soft words, but a small smile played on his lips, expecting how the story will go. ❝ yes, i do. ❞ he holds a large hand out, an invitation for her to move closer without forcing her. ❝ remember how i told you eating all the cookies would make you feel all icky and bad like last time? ❞
