I have this thing where I cling to the past and I refuse to move on from what happened to me, because I'm the only proof that it happened to me, and if I forget, it might as well have never happened. and it's not that I want it to be remembered so that people can see me as a victim, because I don't actually like that very much. but if I don't keep the memory of that trauma alive then he gets away with it. if I let those wounds heal he gets away with it completely unpunished
