it's actually an experiment that I was forced into because I had to spend a day on my second OS, got bored, installed krita on there, didn't have my regular brushes but wanted to paint SO BAD. and here we are (Twilight was also part of the experiment but I don't really like how he turned out so shhhhh)

gonna drop this too, those are exploration sketches originally, but I kinda liked my first attempt so it's more of a ref sheet now.. and now I think that I should make ref sheets for the rest of them cause why does Time always look different, is it just me

I've always found it a bit strange they're almost never portrayed as having a relationship similar to Downfall Duo or Time+Twilight, given that Four probably grew up on stories of Sky's exploits and likely looks up to him a lot.

I’ve never been able to draw the Hero of Hyrule right—That hair of his has angles and curves that I just can’t portray properly. So, like the clay Lizalfos I made years back, I picked up some 3D basics to help. with a few tutorials, I managed a decent yet kinda creepy😶 attempt—at least good enough to study the angles and curves. though here It's definitely less wavy than it ought to be 🤔

I’m using “Nomad Sculpt” on an ipad. With YouTube tutorials it’s been pretty approachable. I tried Blender, but that learning curve takes more time, a luxury I don’t have.

It's been several months since this was 1st posted to patrion, and now I can say for sure I'm feeling a bit more confident drawing him which will be especially helpful for when the spotlight moves to him in the story eventually, and yet I feel his hair eludes me still...

Inspired by the recent live action announcement, this comment by @malevolentsheep, and by my friend Sunshine, who recently finished Tears of the Kingdom without bothering to collect a single Tear of the Kingdom.

(She finished Breath of the Wild a few years ago without bothering to collect any of the memories either, so her version of Wild knows absolutely nothing about what’s going on.)
