This is probably a weird question but would you ever be willing to sell a character/oc? And if so how much would you estimate for the cost?

I know there are characters you definitely wouldn't (like the Hard Lacquer girls) but I'm wondering if it's completely off the table for other characters.

Hi there, I just wanted to say I absolutely LOVE your art and color work. ✨✨ Can I ask you how you get your line art to look so natural with the rendering? Like instead of it being solid black it has a much softer effect. Do you choose the individual colors in each section of the line art or is it a filter of some sort?

thank you! i start off with solid black lineart, which I then color using a clipping mask. it’s a feature of most digital art tools that limits the visibility of a layer to the contents of the layer below it (the one the mask is “clipped” to). in this case, the mask lets me freely color the lineart without going outside the lines themselves.

here’s a gif of what that looks like in procreate, as well as what the inks look like when i toggle the clipping mask on and off. it’s a nifty tool and very easy to use!
