Didn't Want to be Your Ghost [Open]
Months had passed since the day Yen'fay met his sister in a world not of his own. Weeks had passed as he struggled to let go of all that labeled him as human in an attempt to become nothing but a blade at the service of Chrom's Shepherds. But day by day passed, and after continuous self struggle and sleepless nights, he still could not put aside what continued to haunt him.
Yen'fay was known in his land for his peaceful and caring nature. He did all he could for those he loved, and let nothing stand in his way to ensure the safety and happiness of his people. His sister ranked above all else, and it was she of this alternate world who provoked his greatest internal conflict.
No matter what he wished, he was human. He could not hide his emotions further without causing deeper emotional harm to himself. His real sister was dead, but another was here for him. He felt that, finally, he might be able to move on from his past life and build one anew here with the Shepherds.
A while of meditation and thought later, Yen'fay decided he was long past due to try talking with some of the other Shepherds. He fought with them daily, yet could hardly remember their names.
He entered the barracks, surveying the area for anyone he might be able to strike a conversation with.
