This is about me. This is me living a life I didn’t think would happen. This is also me being okay and moving forward.
Enlistment.
Marriage.
Baby.
Heart break.
Pending divorce.
I’ll get through this. Love is weird to me. Something I may avoid. Something I’m not sure if I deserve. Something I don’t know if I can let someone give me.
Is it crazy to say TRC? What this dude has me feeling is absolutely wild. The talks are great. The environment is great. The hang outs are great. But hey, it’s only be 4 weeks. But I’ve been praying.
I keep thinking of how much I love talking to you, how good you look when you smile; how much I love your laugh. I day dream about you on and off, replaying our conversations; laughing at funny things you said or did. I’ve memorized your face and how you look at me. I catch myself smiling again at what I imagined. I wonder what will happen the next time we’re together and even though neither of us know what the future holds, I know one thing for sure; you’re the very best thing that’s ever happened to me.
I keep thinking about how much I love you, how much I want you my life forever…
Could it be you? It would be crazy if it was. If it is, HEY! Thanks for choosing me. You’re extremely handsome, funny, and you show me you love me. It’s only been a couple days, but I enjoy spending time with you.
I’m anxious to go to a place that I enjoyed being. The closer I get seems like the harder this will be. When I was away, it was easy.

The Cycle
Once again it repeated, but this time it’s ending.
It hurts to much.
It doesn’t make sense, but in the end I know it’s needed.
24 hours is the new record. One day at a time.
Healing.
I don’t think your found through an app. But being patient is SUPER hard. I deleted all the dating apps, but it’s like I want someone to entertain me. But that’s not right. Ultimately I think I just need to be single.
The Truth
Truth is, I currently believe I don’t deserve good things. I’m not used to certain things which makes me believe/feel like I don’t want them. But I do want to be catered to, I want someone to really show that they love me. But is it you? You know what you want, but me...I’m all the way scared of the future. I’m afraid of being with you, but missing the old things. I’m not ready to let go, but is letting go the right thing?
Our story.
I hope it’s a good one. I hope we never forget how we met. I hope we never forget what made us continue to keep pressing forward. Whatever it was, we are here now because of it. I know I probably bug you, but I also know you know I love you.
I’m with you because you choose to see that you love and appreciate all I am through Christ.
Nights.
There were nights when I wished you were around. Nights that I wouldn’t have to spend by myself on the couch. Watching TV by myself. Sitting in silences but wanting you around. Those nights were rough. Wanting to stay inside because I had no desire to go out and do what others do. So I waited, and I lived through these nights. But you’re around. I hope that we continue making each other laugh. I hope we continue having cute little inside dates. Heck, maybe we go out! As I lay here in bed I think of you. I think of how it will be to finally be in a mans arms. Especially a man who isn’t going to leave. You’re here to stay.
Tonight I cried. But I prayed for you while crying. I prayed that you would love me. I prayed that you would be the provider, protector and leader in our family. There were days when it was hard being single, but today was a day where I saw a future. I read my singleness book, which helped. I needed to let go, and letting go lead me to you.

I don’t even know where to start. There was so many tears leading up to you, but they were worth it.
High school heart break.
College heart break.
Potential husband heart break.
Mistake heart break.
Waited heart break.
But you are the one that ended it all. Yeah, tears will probably come, but I know that love will still remain. You are who I prayed and waited for. You’ve met my family and they love you. Heck, I know I love you. I hope you’re just as curious as to what our future will hold.
