Forgot to post these from a bit ago, our drunk monk and our sweet druid in modern outfits.
Ayinger (monk) belongs to a friend who isn't on tumblr
Aoife (druid, pre-death on the left and current from in the other two) belongs to @pianissimoe
🔸Estilo: Märzen 🔸Origen: Alemania 🇩🇪 🔸Color: Cobre 🔸ABV: 5,8% #ayinger #festmärzen #märzen #biere #bier #deutschland #oktoberfest #oktoberfest2022 #beerscout #rca #beerscoutclub #beerscoutcrew #ellaesbuena #salük #prost #cheers #mexico #hermosillo #sonora (en Hermosillo, Sonora) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cj_cgeRS3bI/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
Bought a case, because I'm really going to want it in September and October
This has been one of my favorite beers recently.
Sierra Nevada’s Beer Camp Across The World!
Brewers from the United States and around the world teamed up with Sierra Nevada to create this amazing 12 pack!
Surly Brewing’s Ginger Lager, Tree House Brewing’s East Meets West IPA, Avery Brewing’s Dry-Hopped Barleywine-Style Ale, Fullers Brewing’s Atlantic-Style Vintage Ale, Garage Projects Campout Porter, Boneyard Beers West Coast Style DIPA, Duval Moortgat’s Hoppy Belgian Style Golden Ale, Kiuchi Brewing’s White IPA with Yuzu, The Bruery’s Raspberry Sundae, Saint Arnold’s Dry-Hopped Berliner-Style Weisse, Mikkeller Brewing’s Thai-Style Iced Tea Ale and Ayinger Brewing’s Dunkle Weisse. An amazing offering all in one box, stand outs for myself were: Saint Arnold, Boneyard Beer, Surly Brewing and Avery.
Sierra Nevada’s Beer Camp Dunkleweisse with Ayinger Brewery (Picked up at Bev-Mo). A 4 of 4. Really great -- smells of some caramelized sugar and some spice and some fainter roast qualities. Nice sweet malt character in the body with more spice complexity, and a nice prickly bit of carbonation in the finish. Given the higher-carbonation finish, this is quite refreshing. Great all-around, and really nice complexity throughout a lighter (5.7%) beer.
