My tribute to my OTP of all OTPs.
ParaiettaXNeviril
I posted a rough version of this before, and here's the finished product.
Enjoy.
It wasn’t hard to guess where Paraietta would be spending her time on a day like today. Then again, given how they had been spending a little bit more time together, it was easier for the pinkette to figure out where the other was. So, when Neviril walked into the grand ballroom, she hadn’t been the slightest bit surprised to notice the darker-haired girl at the bar.
Perhaps it was the fact that they had been talking more than she was used to that made her feel uneasy as she began to walk over. Things really had changed between them, hadn’t they? Maybe it was due to the fact that Amuria was there, chatting away with Aaeru, laughing. To be completely honest, Neviril had a feeling that it was a combination of both that made her as nervous as she was. Nervous. If she were to admit to anyone she could feel such an emotion there would be a ton of laughter.
No, it was the fact that they had flown together.
Since Amuria had come back, Aaeru had expressed a deep love for flying as well, and the next thing she knew her pair had abandoned her. It was horrible, almost like losing the sibylla all over again. When Neviril had been wallowing in self-pity, it was Paraietta that had convinced her somehow to fly again a few weeks later. In fact, it had been a week since she had gotten back into a Simoun. The whole event with Paraietta flying with her, that kiss they exchanged… it had messed with her much more than she would care to admit.
Hesitating, Neviril made it over to where Paraietta sat and slowly took a seat beside her. She didn’t say anything for a few moments. Whether her second-in-command noticed her or not was a mystery in itself. After a few moments, Neviril ordering for a cup of tea, she finally decided to speak up.
“I would like to thank you for the other day.” Neviril started. She would continue, however her voice had cracked, betraying her for a moment. She did not enjoy being in the same room with Aaeru and Amuria at the same time so close to her. “I suppose you were right, before. The sky ends up calling out to us.”
It took only a second for the burgundy haired Sibylla to notice that she wasn't alone. The voice of her longtime friend reaching her ears only a few seconds after that. The presence of Neviril said that in some way, the two of them might be regaining some of the closeness they once had. It may not be the same as it once was, but it was something more than the last months.
The room was loud. Enough so, that it was hard not to become distracted. For Paraietta however, this was nothing. It was reverse for her. In front of Neviril, it was hard to think of anything else in most situations. "There's nothing to thank me for." The golden green eyes of Paraietta turned toward the other Sibylla. "I was merely telling you something you already knew." In truth, she hadn't only been saying those words to her friend, but to herself as well. She had needed to be shown that very thing, just the same as the Regina.
Her gaze moved forward again, taking a sip of her own tea. She knew now that Neviril was entirely aware of her situation. She also knew of Neviril's to some degree. This understanding made the second in command feel better about them talking. At least, now her friend would understand her words and actions better. "I would guess you've gave thought to flying more. Guragief was happy to see you take flight again."
Just then, something hit her that she hadn't asked Neviril before. Her eyes turned to her friend. "How do you feel about all of this? If you don't mind me asking."
The day was not very nice. Rain fell on the massive ship housing all the three Chors. Such a day like this brought the second in command of Chor Tempest to the place she spent most nights. There were many more sibyllae there in the grand ballroom. Most didn't give Paraietta a second look. She was known for being stern and strict. Which was likely the reason why most didn't talk to her. She really wasn't much for small talk anyway.
It had been a day just like this when her and Neviril first left to become cadets. She remembered how much more she used to talk and smile in those days. She had really changed over time. Things between her and her pink haired best friend had changed along with it. She couldn't pinpoint one particular thing that made her change completely, or that made her and Neviril different.
The biggest thing was when Neviril paired with Amuria. She could recall the feeling of her heart dropping to the ground when she saw the purple haired sibylla kiss Neviril just as they'd met. Though Paraietta and Amuria had became friends, the pain of that day was still felt even in the present.
She took a deep breath, keeping her eyes on the counter of the bar, lost in her thoughts and not paying any attention to her surroundings.
Just a warning to those that might follow Kaimu and Alti.
They're RP had been going on in another place before moving onto Tumblr.
That will explain the abrupt place it seemed to begin.
what do you feel toward Kaim? how do you feel about her and her sisters relationship?
Paraietta's expression hardly changed when she spoke. "Kaimu was a good sagitta when she flew with me. Although, her true pair is her sister Alti. I'm afraid I can't give you any personal details of their relationship." She continued on her way to Neviril's room. "You're welcome to ask the two of them if you must."
(My apologies if Paraietta didn't quite get the question. XD But if it's Kaimu and Alti you want, here's their URLs:

I wish there were other Simoun RP blogs.

Forward then backward
Paraietta's nights had changed, though not much. She had went from thinking that things were hopeless, to thinking they were unlikely. At least that was a step better. A step up from awful. Neviril had come out of her room once and talked to her.
The Grand Ballroom hadn't gotten any less lonely.
She never expected the Sibylla Aurea to keep her company every night. It would have been a foolish thought if she had thought that. Keeping those feelings of hers in check while Neviril was around had become a fine art form. She sat and remembered simpler times with Neviril as cadets. Before all of the war was so real. Before they had been separated by a wall that was higher than any Simoun could fly.
A canyon larger than she could ever imagine.
Thinking everything would stay as it had been was immature, but she couldn't help thinking of it while she stared at the tea in front of her. It was always the flavors Neviril made. She was there, with Paraietta, even when she really wasn't. A somber expression came over her, the memory of a smile on the pink haired girl's face came into her mind. At that time, she was able to bring a smile onto that face, but not anymore.
When was it that Paraietta had forgotten who she was?
Knowing her, it had probably happened after that day. The day that the girl she was sure was going to be her pair ended up with a Sibylla that she had just met. The day that she had decided that she was going to stuff that part of her away.
The day the part of her that would never love anyone but Neviril was forced to see it's last ray of sunlight.
It wasn't long after that, when Paraietta could see that her heart couldn't find it's home. Without Neviril, it was lost. Onashia had made sense before, that much was certain. But hearing the words and seeing something totally different play out in front of your eyes was made things hard to believe.
How many times would she keep backing up after she walked forward?
Maybe she would always be stuck at the same distance, running but never gaining any ground. No matter what she told herself, the truth was that she was still sitting there drinking cold tea in the flavor Neviril would have made. It wasn't nearly as good as Neviril's either, and she doubted it ever would be.

Simoun - Taeyang Feat. J Reyez, Tommy C, and Kevin Lein - Wedding Dress
I edited three versions of this song together. It features the original Taeyang version cut with two different English versions. All three versions having different lyrics.
All my OTP feels.
The Madoka account is another account of mine. I wanted to reblog this here too of course.
I want to keep RPing Simoun
Paraietta is one of my favorite characters ever.
I'd really love more Simoun characters to interact with.
All of you out there could really help.
Does anyone want to take up any character?
Just another night
Paraietta sat at the bar. It was a typical night. Her eyes took in the familiar space, just like they always had while she had been there. A cup of tea sat in front of her. The kind that she always had with Neviril. Her friend had been absent for a few days now. She was infinitely worried that something was wrong.
It wasn't as if she hadn't just caused the one girl she loved more than anything to probably have an anxiety attack.
The truth was hard on the second in command. It was hard to know that Onashia was right. It wasn't wrong to love Neviril. The rest of her decisions were definitely not reflections of her knowing that fact.
Why couldn't she just let herself be?
Did it always have to be such an inner struggle?
The answer to that was easy. Of course it did. Paraietta never wanted to leave things as they were. She made everything about her feelings difficult. To harbor such self resentment was like carrying the entire Arcus Prima on her back wherever she went. It was clear to her that Neviril would probably never want to talk to her again.
However, as she looked at the tea in her cup, she had a slight inkling of hope. She could almost see her friend giving her that slightly blushed look that she used to give her when they were cadets and alone together. At the thought, Paraietta gave a soft sigh and took a sip of it.
She was alone in this room again.
Everything was back to the way it was
It was sad to say that her being alone was her normal.

And a new light shone in
“Well…” Amuria coughed at her pilot’s question. “You can say so. My version is, Paraietta was already broken after I paired with Neviril… mind the altitude, we can fly higher here and hopefully catch a proper wind.”
No matter what happens, never let it distract you from work. Never.
Even if it’s your best friend.
Amuria frowned pensively at her own thought. Was she able to prevent this outcome? Could she convince Paraietta to return to normal life? Would it be better to make the first step and try to negotiate with her instead of waiting in the ballroom?
These questions had no answers, except for practical tests. She should have done it all and see the outcome, but it was too late for it.
She hissed something quite illicit. Hopefully, it wasn’t too late to prevent Paraietta from doing her final mistake.
“Um… where did I stop, Aaeru? I wanted to tell you…”
Her phrase was cut short as she spotted a vessel not too far away.
“I wanted to tell you we’ve found her! One o’clock, bearing two-eight-five, a Simile! Let’s race her!”
She unconsciously let a wide relieved smile appear on her face, her gaze firmly fixed on the aircraft as she was giving Aaeru instructions for outpacing the simile using the overspeed and altitude changes.
You won’t run away, Paraietta. We won’t let you do it. Ever.
Aaeru spotted the small vessel off in the distance. Unfortunately, it was in the process of landing at the mouth of the spring. Any hope of them catching up to her was quickly slipping away.
“Alright!” Aaeru replied. “Let’s see how fast this thing can really go!”
With Amuria’s guidance, Aaeru quickly gained control of the higher functions of the craft. If it had been a simile, she would have felt totally in control, but this was still new to her. No matter how good a pilot she was, it was still her first time. And to be taking on such a high speed at her level was a large undertaking. She shook out any doubts in her mind and pushed forward, concentrating entirely on their goal.
Just… a little… farther…
As they neared the mouth of the cavern, Aaeru circled overhead; reducing speed for landing. They had come in too fast and now — much to the pair’s dismay— had to waste time before landing.
“What if that idiot has gone in already?!” she yelled. “Help me land this thing before it’s too late!”
Paraietta walked out to see Aaeru and Amuria landing in their Simoun. They would believe she chose her permanent sex by now. Her hair and clothes were damp from the rain and the mist in the cave. It looked like she went in the spring.
She looked up at them knowing that Amuria would lose it if she thought she was too late. "Who gave you permission to take off?" She asked Aaeru, as the hatches opened. "Also, seeing as how you two managed to make it here working together. I expect to see you both in the Maaju pool together once a day."
Her serious eyes and voice were telling that she was still a Sibylla. Paraietta looked over to the Simile. "Return to the Arcus Prima immediately." She said, in her serious tone. "Maaju for the both of you upon your arrival." She turned and walked to her aircraft and got in. The roar of it coming to life was exhilarating as ever, and she took to the skies to return to where she belonged.
(Amuria's reply)
Where did it all go wrong? (Part 2 of 2)
The answer had been simple before, but that was not the case now. As she looked across the spring to Onashia, her fists stayed clenched; but now her anger was directed inward. This was something that shouldn't have ever gotten this far.
Why had the second in command let this happen?
"I've failed them." She said with a somber voice. "Have you?" Onashia quickly snapped back, before continuing. "Was it not you simply following your heart? Was it not you desiring to do what it is you've felt like doing for a long time?" Paraietta was hit hard by these truthful words.
"Followed.....my heart." She said quietly. "I've only hurt my...." Onashia cut her off. "Your wrong Sibylla Paraietta. You've hurt you......no one else. Your fear has caused you the pain you now feel. "
Wasn't that the problem in the first place though?
Wasn't it following her heart that caused everything?
"You believe it is wrong for you to love. Yet it is that very love that has driven you to become the Sibylla that stands before me." Onashia said to her.
Who was the Sibylla that stood before her, but someone broken by their own selfishness?
Paraietta couldn't grasp the gravity of the truth in Onashia's words. She was honestly trying at this point. It was like reaching a hand into infinite darkness, stretching to grab onto the smallest bit of hope she had left in her heart. The burgundy haired Sibylla wanted to believe it.
"You are the girl that you are because of what your feelings have driven you to become. A girl loyal and caring, wanting to give yourself to the girl that means everything to you.......You would die right where you stand if it was only you or her that could live."
Her eyes shot open. It was true, Paraietta had not put it in that perspective. She would die for Neviril at that instant if it meant she could live. That was not selfish at all. It meant something that she had not wanted to admit to herself.
She was in love.
Even if she wasn't going to say it to Neviril, she could admit it to herself.
That was what this was all about.
That wasn't a bad thing at all.
It wasn't wrong to be in love.
Her expression returned to normal and she nodded her head to Onashia. "You speak the truth that I was running from." Onashia kept her eyes on Paraietta. "Your time as a Sibylla is not at an end. Return to where you belong....Sibylla Paraietta, second in command of Chor Tempest."
She turned and looked into the light that now shone into the spring from the cleared storm. She picked up her coat and for a brief moment, she gave a tiny smile. One reminiscent of her days as a cadet.
Hope had been there all along.
She had only ignored it.
Maybe someway, she could be happy now that she had accepted herself.
It wouldn't change who she was, only her outlook on that subject.
With the issue settled, she put her coat on and walked into the bright rays of light, ready to face herself with clearer thoughts on that matter. The sound of an incoming Simoun was heard as she passed through the door to the spring.
Where did it all go wrong? (Part 1 of 2)
Paraietta soared through the sky in the Simile. It wasn't the same as flying a Simoun, but that was the last thing on her mind. Her mind attempted to grasp at what exactly had happened.
She had lost it.
Amuria had come back.
She'd stupidly believed that she was going to be Neviril's pair.......again....
Why was that so hard to accept? Was it the fact that she'd told herself that for years? Was it the fact that Neviril's own father had thought that Paraietta and Neviril were going to be together in some sense?
Where had she went wrong?
She herself had thought that very thing.
Why did she keep doing that? As the Simile landed in front of the spring, she thought it through for a moment. It was like her very being refused to take in the fact that Neviril was with someone else.
Amuria was such a good friend.
Paraietta trusted her.
Was it so bad that Neviril had chosen her? Paraietta was not angry with Amuria in the slightest. That wasn't it. She had admitted to herself that she wanted more with Neviril. She had been wanting more. Her heart longed for it. She didn't want to cause anymore trouble for her friend. If this was to continue, it would only do more damage.
Paraietta would be causing it.
Her steps took her into the entrance of the holy place they called the spring. In front of her, across it, was Onashia. "You've come to me just like I knew you would today.......Sibylla Paraietta." Paraietta looked to the side. "........" She didn't know what to say. "Why do you hurt so much? Why do you put so much suffering on your heart?" The questions Onashia asked burned her."I......I....."
Onashia's gaze was unwavering. "You are only one girl. You can only choose your own path. As much as you want to change the direction of another," Paraietta knew who she was talking about and stopped her quickly. "I don't want to change anyone!" She clenched her fist and looked across the spring with anger. "Then why do you want to change you?" Paraietta's mouth dropped and she gasped hearing that question.
"How do you know that they don't like you for who you are right now?" Onashia's question may have seemed silly to others, but to Paraietta, right now, it was like an avalanche.
ALL THE OTP FEELS.
