Given their age, I personally believe no one would find it funny, though half of them (Elio, Percy, and Cameron) would ironically start making jokes about it. Until it stops being ironic (I’m a victim of this).

can i just say i absolutely love everything about this game? a lot of your goals for it, the accurate college life, the nuance of attraction that may or may not be mutual, the potential for the characters and even the player character to discover themselves, and many other aspects of it are things i haven't seen explored to this extent in any other game. from the first time i played the demo, back when you could still meet jamie in the garage instead of the kitchen, i already knew this game had the potential to be one of my favorite comfort games.

at the same time, this game feels like what i wish my college life was like 😅 *shaking PJE by the shoulders* GIVE ME UR SOCIAL SKILLS/hj

anyways, it's clear how much passion is being poured into this game. thank you to everyone on the dev team you're all incredible 🫶

haha, anywhere between the 2010s to 2020s, but we don't have an explicit window. that just happens to be the window of time that the dev team went to college, so a lot of our inspiration for the game come from that.

Will there be a summer artbook released one day? I LOVED the spring one and Immediately I need one for Every Season ever and forever. I'm so obsessed with seeing the team's work and details about the game!

haha, yes! it was one of the KS rewards, so we plan on releasing the summer guides and artbook eventually. it will very likely not be on release, as the people who compile and format the pages are also us dev-side and we've got a game to push!

Sooo we saw Nikki, and he's great, he's looking incredible, are we going to be able to see Quynh as well?? are we going to be able to see most of the NPCs or just some? will the new npcs for the new season (like the Javi person on Deja's screenshot) have sprites as well? These are too many questions about the sprites- I just didn't expect to see them so soon, ahh I'm excited

we decide who gets one based on how frequently they actually show up in game or if they're someone the player could reasonably befriend! as an example, let's take nikki and camilla! although both of them are largely tied to extra fries, the reason that nikki gets a sprite and camilla doesn't is because he is someone the player could reasonably befriend if you make the right decisions!

mickey, the thrift shop npc, is another example of that!

you can see mickey pretty often. (she shows up in at least two events in spring!), but you wouldn't really be able to hang out with her outside of her working, so she doesn't get a sprite even though she features in more events than nikki does all of spring. (nikki beats her out in summer, though.) i know rory and mace are on the docket in terms of npc sprites and we have a few others we'd like to get sprites for too, but we'll see!

Marina edit: in a perfect world, everyone that has a name would have a sprite… and mark my words once I have the means for it they shall… this is a threat— I want my sprites. I WANT OUR CHARACTERS ALIVE EVEN IF I HAVE TO DO EVERYONES MICROEXPRESSIONS MYSEL—

I hope we get to see more of Mace in the future! As someone who's still questioning their gender and identity, Mace as a character made me feel so happy and seen! I love her energy and how he presents themselves. Mace is who I strive be in the future ;;

Tbh I wanted Mace in summer (because in my heart of hearts they’re your only RA until they graduate 🥹), but if we made a sprite for Mace I’d want all of the ways he’d present herself because they’re gender fluid. So it would mean making a masc appearance, fem appearance, and then also making every aspect of their sprite be mix-and-matchable to better suit what they’re feeling that day.

And yeahhh— ended up being too much on our plate given what we already need done in summer. But someday! I’ll have em on screen again :,)

(Again this is a threat I WILL FUND AND FIND A WAY TO GET MACE A SPRITE COMPLETE WITH SEASONAL OUTFITS AND EXPRESSIONS AND—)
