Know what grinds my gears? People on #youtube who think it's all good and cool to claim someone else's work because it shared a similar audio or video trait, even though it's technically a transformative original peace of work on a beat that was and is free to use. I said it before so I'll say it again, just because you think you own the rights to ur work doesn't give you the right to claim others work as urs if they didn't actually use ur original work. Get off ur clout and do ur research before you get urself into trouble and waste urs and my time. This is how you know that @youtube has a very very flawed claiming system on their site. So if any average Joe can claim my work as theirs without definite proof of right to it and someone else's video is then recommended to my viewers in place of my work, how the hell is that fair? The YouTube team I am speaking to you directly now, you need to fix or remove all together this claiming system, as long as my work isn't getting it's proper exposure and is being continually ignored and claimed by unknown 3rd parties then ur sites creators will leave you. Your relevance in today's world is to work with what ur content producers want. You have sat by for years now filling ur pockets with enough ad money. Ur companys won't be happy when their products are startin to show less when less and less videos are uploaded. You are only hurting yourself YouTube. YouTube rewind was a joke and you know that. You can pretend like things are going great all you want, but the user base will definitely disagree with you and you know that from the dislikes on ur latest rewind. It would seem as a whole that the team at YouTube has lost sight of what really mattered most, the content creators. To end this rant I'll say this final bit, if things continue to dwindle like this and you don't listen to the majority, then your site will fail and we will all eventually move on to a better site that's ran better. Already started a channel on Mixer! Not only will I slow down on YouTube from daily, to weekly, and monthly like I have from the time I started, but I will quit eventually all together.
