I was just going to throw over watercolor, but thought it would be a mess not testing this Arche paper I bought a year ago. For the first time since a long time, I took real pleasure while working on something that is not a speedpaint/monochrome watercolor. I want to try new stuff. I forced myself to stay very simple on those one, because unlike gouache, acryl or digital, it’s quickly a mess when I keep adding tones of different color…>_> *where is the overlay layer on watercolor…*
Haven't updated this in a while. Have a sketch!

Random girl. Still playing with brushes and black and white until I feel confident enough.
Doodling eyes to play around with brushes.
Quick sketch of Usagi.
I'm starting to feel more confident about my lines ♥
Another warm up based on this lovely lady from lookbook. Still figuring out how to work with colour and brushes. I regret focusing so much on monochromatic things during all these years.
Quick sketch based on this photo.
I was pleasantly surprised by this book and ended up really enjoying it. So here's Lis from Seconds.
Edit: I just realized that the shadow is on the wrong side... OTL
