Why did fanon decide Dex is homophobic?

Was there more than

“I thought since Jack Zimmermann was on the team guys would be less good at baking, if you know what I mean”

And

“One in four, maybe more. That’s not true is it?”

Is there more than that?

Because yeah, it can be read as homophobic. But it can also be read as someone who is LGBT+ who is used to men’s sport teams being pits of homophobia and toxic masculinity and is also used to there being almost no other LGBT+ people in his vicinity.

But maybe I missed something.

Dex groaned, pushing his hair back with both hands. “I just spent four hours untangling someone else’s fucked up code.”

Derek hummed inquisitively.

Derek closed his book and slid it across his desk.

“I’m not gonna pretend to know what that means, but is there anything I can do to help?”

Dex drooped like his strings had been cut. “God, can you. I know this is kind of weird, but can you just hold me?”

Like I know we spend a lot of time focusing on Bitty’s relationship with his mother and how their mannerisms are parallels, but this?? So I actually wrote a dexnursey fic that I am pretty happy with, so I decided to post it here. I give you ~1000 words of jealous!dex and jealous!nursey being idiots ;)

So Dex is drunk. He’ll admit it. It’s been a long time since he drank this much. Fuck, he is not used to this. Usually he prefers to only get a bit tipsy, because he doesn’t actually like being drunk. But today he has a reason to drink more than he normally would. He spots his reason across the room, talking to a couple of girls. Dex tears his eyes away and stalks into the kitchen. There is only one other person in there, a guy Dex doesn’t recognize.

“Hey,” the guy says when he spots Dex. “You’re Dex, right?”

Dex just nods in answer and goes to grab a bottle of water from the fridge. When he turns around, the guy has moved closer and is now on the verge of pressing Dex against the door of the fridge.

“So…” the guy says and drags a finger down Dex’s chest. “Do you wanna…?”

The guy trails off and Dex takes a moment to properly look at him. He’s not bad looking, a bit shorter than Dex with light brown hair and brown eyes. Dex hasn’t kissed anyone in a while and he’s not exactly sober, so when the guy leans in and kisses him, Dex kisses him back. His lips feel nice against his own, and he gets lost in the kiss for a moment. Until suddenly there is a loud bang somewhere in the kitchen and they both jump at the noise.
