The world is broken; in pieces, the State of Calamity is fit only for the descriptor of ruination. Where supernaturals have always roamed the Earthern plain, the world they stand in now is post-war; a result of the last near apocalypse that left them in a place that can only be rebuilt from the ground up. And it is being forged into something new. Though, not all would see it thatway. The North, East, South and the West have each been overtaken by force; fragmented into lawless districts. Each home to the fragile alliances of the mixed species; a city bordered by both a southern coast and an eastern forest, some terrains aren’t holding solid ground as much as they’d like it to. The trade, life and existence remains ongoing within the State. It simply has to. Then the second war hit. And so many lives were lost. Every side took casualties; the ancient faces that most knew for centuries perished. What was left of the resources dwindled to almost nothing, and there’s nothing more vicious than a hungry monster staking claim to what it wants. Anarchy came with a new set of teeth. It had been the Queen of the Merfolk that extended the first hand; a creature who controlled the beneath, and spent only half their days on land, offered the first hand to a peace. It had been the start of the agreement. A speaker for every faction that would gather annually to find a way to co-exist; one nominee would go, with the questionably shaky agreement of a ceasefire, to attempt to salvage the last of their world, before there is nothing left to save. Because whilst the future of the State isn’t completely clear, it’s very much evident that those on one side aren’t all that fond of some on the other side. Not all would see change; not all would see peace ever reached. And some only want to live. Where do you stand? Because Calamity won’t survive another war.
Calamitoushq is a 21+, dark, supernatural rp, set in an post-apocalyptic world. It revolves around the power struggle in the new world. Mortal and Immortals attempt to coexist, but they're merely fighting to stay off the brink of another.
