So this is from the new Ghost in the Shell show. So far, I'm not sure how I feel about it just two episodes in. It preserves the goofiness and appearance of the manga, but it also seems to respect the stuff that came before. My first experience was the original 1995 movie, and I love SAC. I found the goofiness of the manga off-putting. But, I'm still watching it, so we will see how I feel about it later as the series goes on.
