She had the courage to face death and discrimination and all odds against her. May our communities find strength in her courage. Highly recommend the movie. After taking a Political Communications class, I’ve learned that despite how everyone says they don’t like attack ads, they are still INCREDIBLY effective. Bernie Sanders knows this and he still chose to take the high road. He could have even used this opportunity to politely criticize Hillary’s stances on issues but he refused.

YouTube is Winning. Conventional media is freaked out.

That’s my takeaway from the NY Post article attempting to rip apart some of the funniest, sweetest, most talented people I know.

And I happen to know them personally, but you know them too. They let you into their lives. They have worked tirelessly to deliver consistent content to you. They inspire you and make you laugh and get you through difficult times.

They hold such high value that they’re being blatantly attacked. This is what happens in the world when people get threatened by new ideas and shifts in culture. It just comes with the territory. And the fact that it’s becoming commonplace for well known media outlets to launch these attacks is to be expected.

Suffice it to say, haters gonna hate.

Let’s not hate in response. Let’s just celebrate this as a win.

Grace is a comic genius and Mr. Smiths article go’s to far. His focus is on some of the content with a bit less merit than we know these people are capable of. Considering the amount of content they produce, a few misses here and there do not warrant this type of attack. That said, there is a lot of idiocracy out there in all media today. Reality shows, fox news, and so much more. Celebrating a win would not be the most they could take from this article. We can always do better and less dumbing down for the sake of a younger generation is something leaders should consider. I mean I had a 20 year old model singer in my studio yesterday who despite being very talented quite litterally thought Bagdad was a person. And when asked about the politics of the wars we have been in for the last 10 years regarding this, she commented, I’m not so good at geography. lol The post is a waste of paper so that’s about all they should take from it.

Planning to vote for Bernie Sanders?

I just saw another enthusiastic post going around, encouraging people to vote for the man, but missing an important fact.

Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton are both running as Democrats.

The party will use YOUR votes to decide how many Democratic Party delegates from your state go to the Democratic National Convention and vote on who represents the party in the general election (what this means varies by state; see this article for an explanation). This means that in order for you to see Bernie Sanders in the White House, you must see him beat Hillary Clinton at the DNC.

If you do not vote for Bernie Sanders in the primary, you will NOT be able to vote for him as president, because only one person will represent the Democratic Party. If you want to see Bernie Sanders in the White House, again, you cannot wait for the general election, because he will have been knocked out of the race.

The ugly financial imbalance of the sexes prevails, even in The Beautiful Game.

A lot of people are talking about the difference in pay between the mens and womans athletes in their respective world cups. It comes down to basic economics. The womans cup has only been held 7 times and the mens around 50 times. Espn generated 529 million in ad revenue for the mens cup and fox only 17 million for the womans.

The womans sport is evolving and the only way for it to continue to grow is for the fans to continue to support it and not let it just die away for two years until the olympics. I believe that their is no one sitting up in some office saying, oh their woman lets pay them less. Its just numbers crunching. Click the pic for the washington post article. Interesting #s
