DRAGONETTE is finally BACK and better than ever!

March will see the release of two brand spanking new tunes. As they ready the video for the first proper new single "Let It Go" (be sure to check the twitter feed for some sneak previews @dragonette) to be unleashed at the end of the month, today sees the unveiling of "The Right Woman," which is FUCKING AMAZING. a collaboration with producer Felix Bloxsom, who has worked with Sia and Empire of the Sun, and produces, remixes, and DJs under the Plastic Plates moniker.

In conjunction with these releases, and in the lead-up to the release of Dragonette's 3rd album (which is almost done!), Dan, Tina, and Joel are hitting the road to play a combination of new tracks and old favorites, stopping at SXSW and Coachella along the way, and popping in to the Juno Awards, where they'll perform "Hello" and see if their nomination turns into their first win!

Kylie Minogue has finally announced the first two dates for her much-anticipated Anti-Tour, an intimate showcase for hardcore fans devoted to the B-sides, rarities and unreleased tracks we giggle and fawn over in both forums and the blog world alike.

Queen Cheryl Cole, she of the almighty Girls Aloud and X Factor, recently put the finishing touches on her third studio album, which is due out later in 2012. Now, the pop beans have been spilled by Sunday Mirror columnist Dean Piper, who confirmed earlier today that We Found Love hit-maker Calvin Harris worked with Cheryl on “a dance classic” which will likely act as the lead single from the upcoming campaign. Cheryl and Calvin. Dream of the possibilities. At best, we’ll get something as bright and shimmering as RiRi‘s We Found Love and Where Have You Been, Kylie Minogue‘s In My Arms or Sophie Ellis-Bextor/Róisín Murphy‘s Off & On. At worst, we’ll just get a reductive carbon copy of We Found Love, which would still be objectively amazing. sources say this is one of Cheryl’s biggest records YET, and it could even spell out an opportunity to dominate worldwide. 2012: Year of the Cole? lets hope so!
