So...it's been a while since I've posted here lol anyone still here? Do you love and listen to Red Velvet? WELL! Tell me your RV discography preferences!!!

In 2021, I asked ppl to vote for their favorite title tracks and bsides, and then made a video of the results. Red Velvet has had 4 EPs and 2 full albums since then (a lot of new songs in the running now), so we are long overdue for another poll! A 2026 EDITION it is!

God I absolutely love "Burn Bright" by My Chemical Romance. For ages I did not have a favourite song, but rediscovering it in my college years while i was figuring out my queerness quickly solidified it as the one. Especially the "Not ashamed of what I am" line. It speaks to me on so many levels. and it's just, so good.

Like, the song is at its core about being Queer. But it speaks to me in all the ways I've been dehumanized. Being trans, being queer, being aro, being ace, being autistic, being neurodivergent, being a girl, being a woman, being non-binary, being a victim of abuse, god even being a child and the eldest child and severely traumatized.

Being able to take all of that horrid lived experience, stand up from the ashes and still look at myself, still pick myself up and hold myself to light and be proud and not ashamed? So fucking powerful.

the bsides are sooooo good. there are 3 songs: time of your life, see you on the water and my death (it’s a cover apparently, haven’t listen to it yet)

time of your life is very cute, the lyrics are cute and it’s giving off change the show (album) vibes. miles posted a video singing this song last year i think

see you on the water: lyrics are quite sad but the song it’s really good, like crying while dancing. it’s reallyyy good. “i never needed anyone until now” it’s like the person doesn’t want miles but miles needs them?! im not sure i need to listen to it again
