Days 5 & 6 minis 9-16. More practice lots of much needed zen. Though 3D printed minis from an unoptimized process (college 3D print lab) are just the worst. Fighting your paint with every brush stroke but I think they turned out ok. The mummy’s looked terrible so I wrapped them in small strips of thick paper that came with the wet pallet. Day 4 of painting. Minis 6, 7, & 8. Experimenting with edge highlights after the wash and more dry brushing metallics. Only 3 more practice skeletons left. Day 3 minis 3, 4, & 5. Some #reaperbones spear skeletons. Practicing some of the beginner techniques from YouTube channels like Miniature Maniac and Tabletop Minions. Day 2 mini 2. 3D printed paladin totem. This one is a resin print and some of the details got a bit crunchy because of how brittle resin prints are so I took advantage of it to make a fallen/oathbreaker theme. Needed a creative outlet to take my mind off things and catch a little bit of that timelessness/zen. So I finally decided to start painting minis! Day 1 first paint is a 3D printed cleric totem. Anglo Saxon runes on the bottom spell faith and transcend.
